That's weird.

I have a FAN discount account, and was able to upgrade both my lines through Apple iPhone app no problem. I think that at least those with FAN accounts should be able to use Apple's site. Not sure about those with full Premeir (corporate-paid) accounts, though.

That said, AT&T's pre-order site was sending me to the premier section and then crapping out.

It went in fine using the apple site.
The AT&T premier site was sucking.
 
I cant believe I am going through this again year after year. Last year it took 3 hours to get through and my phones got hear 3 days after everyone elses. This is BS
 
It's weird because I have a "Premier" account and always get transferred to business services... but my account is neither corporate-paid nor business-related. I just have a lot of phone lines (our entire extended family is on the same account), and use a discount from work.

This sucks. :(

I'm on the phone with AT&T... well, on hold. Been on for over 20 minutes now. Will I get anywhere?
 
I have Citi Premier and I was able to order fine through the Apple Store at 2:16 AM CST.

My gf has Coca-Cola Premier. When I tried to order through Apple's Website - I got the unable to reach the carrier systems message and was assigned an RSVP number.

Also tried going through AT&T but it's making me go through the premier system - which is down at the moment :(
 
I've never used or had to use this specific premier website that you guys are talking about. But then again, I've never ordered online before. Last two iPhones, I was first in line at my local Apple Store and thought I'd go this route this year. Sucky. :mad:
 
Have a premier account and a FAN, and as of now cannot hit the premier site.

Maybe the difference is that the ones that have to order from Premier (like myself) own our businesses? And the ones that can order from apple/at&t standard store are employees with a "premier discount"?
 
Apple stopped asking for a deposit and just straight up says it cant continue.

Yes, my account just has an employee discount from my employer. I am in no way a "business" account, not at all. Regular person here. Never had to use a special website before. Now I dunno what to do.

After 35 minutes of being on hold, I was also disconnected. Called back to get through the prompts, then after selecting #3 for upgrade, got a busy signal. Hung up, decided not to call back. I hate AT&T.
 
I have had a premier FAN account for years and I order through apple every year. I think if you are on a large corporate account you may have a problem but if you are just using a discount from work you should be OK.

Nope... I don't have a large corporate account, I'm just using a discount from work. Can't get through. Not cuz the site is slammed. The message I get is:
Your current AT&T account is not supported on the Apple Online Store. To complete your iPhone purchase, please contact AT&T or, if this is a business account, your company's telecom manager. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I get a similar message about my account not being eligible for online upgrade from AT&T.
 
They should at least change the name from premier to unwanted step child. :rolleyes:
 
How frustrating is this. It's already gonna ship in two weeks and I can't even get my order to go through. Damn you ATT for putting my account in this premier website shenanigans.
 
On hold for 44 minutes with Small Biz Support...

AT&T Premier site was up for a few moments, but toppled over on clicking iPhone Preorder.

Damn.
 
What number are you calling? 611 gives me a busy signal.

Went through 611 with no problems. First two times got a busy signal when they transferred me to support.

I think it's just saturated now. If you could hit the site you could get a 1-800 for premier directly, but I'm not sure what that is.

I'd keep trying 611. Site is still unavailable.

Just got through and I'm on hold with 611. Is it even possible to order over the phone if we have a Premier/business account? I have a feeling this will be a waste of time.
