Stuck in same hellish boat. Premiere corp account. Pres and COO want iPhone 5 upgrades. Bonus, I get to upgrade mine to.

Well... if I could manage to get in.

Site came up just as rep answered at 3:40ish my time, and told me phone preorders weren't until 8AM, and if I had premiere website access, to use that.

Site has only gotten to the login screen a couple times, and every time it did, it refused to take my login (that I had used at 11:53 PST with no trouble at all.)

Yeah, it's a pretty awesome boat. Everyone wants an upgrade..

So you got through and they aren't doing anything until 8 AM? Damn. Perhaps the 1 hour 22 I've been on hold is for not..

I suppose our only hope is allocation for Premier users now, and getting those orders in when the site is up/at 8 AM.
 
I had problems lol APPLe site kept saying I didnt have an account and normal ATT site kept timing me ot at add a line.

1st try on premier I got thru right when I was about to give up

The site has been garabge for at least 30 min.. I wanted to check status from confimration and I just get site is under heavy load, etc or something liek that.

This site has been down for years!!!
 
Thanks for the responses. Maybe trying to go to an ATT store in-person on Friday instead of the Apple Store would be better?

Yeah I was pretty pissed. Ended up waiting another 7 hours the week after. 14 hours for the iPhone 4...nuts. Now I want to prevent that and do it online.

I'm still at Site is Currently Unavailable on every load attempt of the login pages..

Honestly, I cannot decide if it is better then 'site is taking too long to load, please wait' with the 15 second auto reload script..
 
I'm only getting the "Site Unavailable" splash screen.

Yes Moss, I've restarted 3 times.... now go plug the internet back in!
 
When I go to the Premier site I still get this...

The one thing that makes this different from the iPhone 4 pre-order is that at least you could get to various parts of the process.

It seems that a backend server has just crashed entirely.. Is anyone around to restart it?

Because of my business account. My dad had an account and I found out a few weeks before. I went in to the store knowing I could have been turned down. Got the phone, was ready to pay...and up popped some message saying it wouldn't work.

I ended up buying it FULL PRICE from apple. I went to ATT saying what happened. They did nothing. Returned it then waited another 7 hours at ATT.

I am RESTRICTED to doing this through ATT or ATT.com. Its horrible.


EDIT: Good luck to those waiting. This isn't worth the unrest.

I remember with the first iPhone AT&T reps didn't know that you couldn't apply them to business accounts...

Is anyone still on hold for phone support?

I'm surprised that there wasn't a news story about a person spontaneously combusting in an Apple Store on iPhone release day. I don't know how I would have reacted in that situation after waiting all that time.

Got ya, so it SOUNDS like you are an "employee" on your Dad's business account? Sorry for using the term employee, but premier is so freaking confusing, that is how I have to think of users.

The way I understand it, is under the premier/business account the actual user of the phone has no liability to AT&T. There is no credit check on the individual, they are not responsible for the bill etc....
 
You just know some AT&T IT guy is happily snoozing in bed without a care...

As for the premier phone support, is it confirmed they get in the morning around 8 AM PST?

Perhaps we should just start calling the number around 7:30 AM or so.. The site seems to not be showing many signs of life.

yeah...but i'm going right for retentions...they can open new lines too

is it just us premier members having issues?!?!?!? are regular ATT customers getting through fine?? do you guys know??
