Can't wait for the 5,5 inch personally :) the battery life should get a nice boost on these bigger models too.

Same here : 4.7 inch is too small, and bezel looks way too large on this pic
Praying for more battery life AND 128 GB of embedded storage

I definitely agree, main idea behind iPhone idea was size. It was a little computer you put on your pocket. It's meant to be a communication, information and entertainment device. iPad was the media consuming and internet browsing device. A 4.7'' or 5.5'' phone is too big to carry and too small to use as a media / internet device. Apple should have stayed with 9.7'' iPad and 3.5'' iPhone. Wow, Steve was really right.

You must be kidding right?
original size of iphone was from a time when phoning feature mattered. It is NOT the case anymore at all. People need real estate for new usages and 3,5 inch is just way too small even for basic reading !

Giving the customer what it wants as opposed to? Disregarding the people that will give them money? Fantastic arguing point that

Why do you and so many others here think that Apple will not update it's 4" phone along with the introduction of larger sized iPhones. Do you really think Apple would ignore its existing customer base? You can question arguing points of others but you are missing the point yourself.

I hope that's fake because it looks like it's not getting a bezel trim. I don't really care about a bigger screen if it means a significantly bigger device. Sure, I'll buy it and it won't be the end of the world, but again, I'm definitely among the people more concerned with physical device size than screen size. Extra screen real estate is great if you can squeeze it into a device similar to the size we have now, but getting much bigger than that starts becoming more cumbersome.

I hate all of you who want a bigger iPhone. Apple is just giving the customer what it wants and it seems everyone wants a bigger phone these days and I hate you all. I like being able to put mine in my pocket. You all can suck it! Suck it hard!

You idiots are insufferable. You can still fit in in your pocket. Oh, and I hate you too.

This was an earlier leak that turned out to be fake. A lot of people here hated it because the top and bottom bezels weren't symmetrical.

To me this looks awful, especially if you're holding the phone in landscape orientation. I can't see Apple ever releasing a phone where the bezels aren't symmetrical. People complained about the bezels on the One (M8) and yet the phone still gets great reviews.

Personally I love the way Apple implemented Touch ID. If they can eventually come up with something similar that does away with the physical home button, great. But anyone expecting them to do it only one year after it launched seems highly unrealistic.

agreed I dont particularly like bigger bezels but they should atleast be semetrically espescially for landscape holding your would be covering the screen if you had nothing else to hold onto

Well it does look massive compared to the 5. However, based on the picture and the hands holding the phone, it does look like it could still fit and be controlled by one hand. If so, I say bring it on. If not I am with you. Although no way on the 4. I love my 5s. The 4 is too small now and I could not go back. I want a the biggest screen possible, but IMO the limit is the point where it goes beyond being a one hand device. At that point it becomes a tablet or phablet. If they go there, I say stick the phone app in the iPad mini. That would pretty much please everyone i think.

No. I don't want a stupid tablet that can make calls. I want a bigger phone. "one handed use" is relative btw, I can use up to a 5.2'' phone one handed.

gonna catch hate on this... but apple needs to redesign some of it's UI to scale up to a larger screen... so much wasted space already.. give us 5 icons across on the home screen and unlimited apps in a folder..

The htc one(m7) that everyone drooled over last year basically has these same dimensions.A lot of those android phones with tiny bezels just look off.

I don't actually mind asymmetry on phones, but even if they increased the top bezel to match the size needed for the home button it would be nice looking with the side bezels so small.

I like my 5S, but want a bigger screen. I do not want my 5S just blown up bigger. I want something to look new. Hope you got the word Sir Jon.

I'll take the 5.5 inch iPhone because I'm a guy and have man size hands and don't wear tight girl pants.

It's funny all the b!tching and moaning going on, reminds me when there was talk about a 4 inch display and all of a sudden it's prefect. I have never seen such fickleness ever.

It's time Apple finally got it and moved on to something that's actually useful that people actually want not what Apple thinks we want.

I really don't like the "tall" form! It may be OK on 4" display but it starts to look a bit silly on a bigger screen in my opinion.

Well, there were times when Apple was not selling what people wanted but made people want what they were selling...

Forcing people to choose from only one screen size (4") isn't going to suddenly make more people want it.

Don't expect big changes from Apple.
Apple changes their designs like a captain steers a ship.
Small moves, small moves...

I was really hoping Apple would go this route: eliminate the home button, make a very tiny bezel, and as a result the size increase is minimal.

Instead, it just looks like they're making a larger 5S. Disappointing.

No One know if this is legit, as the front panels are probably the easiest thing to produce/fake. Could be a knockoff for all we know

Oh my, that's a nice looking mock up. Make that lower bar a soft button and you'd be sitting pretty in my opinion. I know Apple couldn't go that direction right now as has been stated several times, but it sure would be nice to be at that point.

Except that Apple just introduced Touch ID into the HOME BUTTON last year. And they haven't even brought it to the iPad yet. Did you really think they would drop that after one year? Where is Touch ID on this mockup?

why can't they go in that direction?
