If you game at all - its very difficult to push virtual buttons and D-pads if they are too close to the edges. To that end, I am glad about those bezels.

Love hearing all these complaints.. Makes me laugh.

The same people will be changing their tune when the launch happens.

MARK. MY. ****IN. WORD.

Yeah, these are all the same people whining about wanting a larger phone and now that it's here it's #omgitshideous #mylifeisover #willbuyitanywayaftericomplain

First, in China you alrdy have big iPhone copies which run android, nothing new here. It could be a front panel for these devices.

Second, there are great number of fron panels in the background, which mean that we are not seeing a separate part stolen from the factory. I rly doubt that anyone can leave the factory building with that much front panel is his pockets. There are metal detectors, searches, etc.

Third, its too early for the production to actually start given that the phone is not suposed to be presented until september and released in october/november.

I dont belive this rumor, but thats me.

No way it's true. iP4, 4s, 5, 5s and now 6 with the exact same design, just longer/bigger :hurl:
The top and bottom bazels needs to go btw!!!

With AT&T moving toward not subsidizing phones with the Next plan and better monthly rates if not being subsidized, I wonder if demand will drop. Add a $100 increase to the price and demand may drop resulting in a future price drop. That is what I hope. These devices are getting too expensive for what they are.

iPhone 4, 4S, 5 and 5S were and still are the best designed phones on the market, hands down. The competition is not even close. Not even the HTC One can match the minimalistic industrial design of the iPhone.

Bottom line: never change a winning team.

Some people make it sound like 4.7" is a small, incremental increase compared to 4". I disagree. Every time I hold a 4.7" Android phone in my hand, I'm surprised by how much bigger it is. I will never get used to it. IF they really introduce an iPhone 6 with a minimum size of 4.7, I will probably buy a 5S an keep it running for as long as I can.

I really, really, REALLY hope that all the 5.5" rumors are bogus, and the iPhone 6 comes with a choice of 4" and 4.7", all else being equal.

EDIT: Actually, that's what I personally believe is the more likely scenario. This is exactly how bogus rumors get started: One credible source say there will be two sizes. Another credible source say there will be a 4.7" model. Some jerkoff analyst conclude that then there must be a larger one, ignoring the obvious: A 4" phone is still the single best selling phone on the market, why would Apple kill that size?

Obviously, when this gets announced, Apple is doomed for failing to match the analysts' expectations, that goes without saying...

what are you going to do in 20 years when things are totally different then now? Think how far tech has come in the last 8 years. Now imagine 20 from now. Just learn to appreciate these tools(and grow with new tech) and not complain about something that wasn't there back in the 90s when i was a teenager...

There's no way the rumor saying the iPhone 6 will be $300 is true! All the the flag ship androids start at $200, apple isn't stupid.

"...However, the front panel also features a notably thinner bezel..."

Am I looking at the right picture? Where is the notably thinner bezel?
It sad it looks like the 4.7" iPhone will be even bigger than the moto x.

I don't know why people say that Apple said a phone should be worked in on hand. They said the iPhone 5 is the best ideal phone that you can work with it in one hand. They did not say they will only make phones that fit in one hand. They are not copying samsung in sizes. They have said it theirselves that they will not go bigger unless the software and other things were capable and ready for a bigger screen. Now it is so therefor they are going bigger. T that they didn't want to sacrifice anything just for a bigger screen before. hey never lied or a hypocrites like people say.

20 years from now, we, the humans wont be bigger and our hands wont be bigger and if we still use devices with our hands, we would prefer to use them with one hand. Whatever device we have in our life in 20 years, it must be small enough to enter our pockets and attach to our body without looking as a dush. Things must change making them better not trading portability or ease of use just to have a bigger display for your eyes.
