Reef, just out of curiosity and for my own education, do you use any filters for these pictures, such as as FL-W magenta filter?

3 stop neutral density and ND Grad usually.
In terms of magenta colour, this is pretty much as I saw it.
I usually set out after a thunderstorm has passed in the afternoon and head out to sea, that's when the best colours come out... there's usually lighting on the horizon too, but I haven't been lucky enough to catch any yet...

Thanks. I really enjoy these series of photos and the composition, softness and colors in them.

One of the doors at the Gray Monk winery...

Today is another "short of time" day, so I went with a flower macro. I imported it on the iPad and applied adjustments in Snapseed to achieve this look.

Thanks. It's some little village in Slovenia. (I have trouble remembering names that I can barely pronounce. )

One from Friday...

I love the way the leaves in the foreground and the foliage and mountain range seem to frame the building. They definitely draw your eye straight to the main subject.

I liked how yesterday's image came out, so I decided to do another one with similar treatment today. This flower was in my neighbor's yard, so I had to take my white background outside this time. The morning sun provided just a hint of light through some trees to light it without being entirely in shade or entirely in bright sunlight. I then imported to my iPad and used SnapSeed for the post process treatment.

One of the Twin Barns at the Nisqually Delta. It's kind of quite in a bird sanctuary in August.

One more sunset shot.

Oh, and I agree with Dale above. The B/W treatment is perfect for this shot. And I still can't believe that the reflection is from the car's sunroof. Brilliant!
