For some reason posting from Photobucket can be glitchy. Other members who use the service post a thumbnail through the MR servers as a backup to an image from Photobucket.

Interesting pic. I wonder what the little piggie in the lower right is up to. He looks like he's in time-out...:eek:

The pic next in the sequence shows the little guy leaping out of the trough, lol. Quite cute. Pigs aren't typically my subject of choice, but the lighting was cool and I was able to play with the D7000 and 50mm f/1.8 combo in lower light.
 
I was out and about on my first paid photography gigs today. I took pictures at a neighborhood music festival and a high school football carnival. Here's one of the shots from the carnival.

It was 45 degrees celsius this day with the humidity and the haze coming off Lake Superior was pretty intense in the distance. I saw this ship coming out of the mist like a ghost ship. By the time I got the camera out, the sun had started to change the look of the scene a bit. Not as dynamic as TheReef's shot above, but I was happy with it.

No, that other cavern is about a three-hour drive further west. That amazing turquoise color is typical of most of the streams and rivers of both the Julian and Kamnik Alps. :)
