OK, it's not on my desktop for the day. I was just joking. :)

Seriously, I change my desktop at least once a day. Not trying to steal anyone's work.
This is understood. Just keep in mind that a lot of the work in this thread has a copyright. I'm a photographer and former designer, so I get a bit sticky on this. I'm easy enough to ignore...

It doesn't look like you were quite so sneaky with this one. The man looks like he just caught on to what you were doing :p . I never really used to be into street shots, but I have to admit, your work has been slowly converting me.

Not my favorite from that day but I wanted to be an "assassin" on this one to meet this week's Street Photography Now Project theme :D

One of my first self portraits. It's so awkward posing in front of a camera, and it's doubly awkward taking pictures of yourself!

Visited the area where the bighorn are wintering right now once again. This time with my WB on Auto and shooting RAW. Caught these 3 rams heading off into a ravine and I got the last one to look back at me. Caught two rams butting each other but some fence posts were between me and them and got in the way:(

But, I wasn't sure about imbibing, figured I'd stick to beer.

I managed to find a last bit of fall colors here, so I'll contrast with all snow pictures showing up now. But then in the Atlanta area we don't get much snow in the winter, so I won't ever have many snow pictures to share. Right now it is cold enough for snow, though, and I don't like it!

^^^ Magical!

Very happy you think so. :)

I think I could just strip into board shorts and dive into that beautiful scene Phrasikleia, escape this humidity :p

In these temps, I think that would be an escape all the way to the Pearly Gates.

My new desktop background! :)

Enjoy it! Whenever someone has asked if they could use one of my photos as a desktop background, I've always said yes. I do appreciate being asked, though. However, whenever someone asks if they can use an image in a blog or for some editorial use "in return for a credit line," the answer is always NO.

Dundee Airport last Thursday, one of the few days in the last week and a half when planes have been flying! Grab shot off the hip as I headed for the stairs across the tarmac.

EXIF: 5D Mark II, ISO 400, EF 16-35 II @ f/4.5, 1/13th handheld, 16mm

Not sure which I like better: the photo or Doylem's comment about it. Both great!! :D

Very nice shot. Can't remember when I last saw Grouse at that angle.

When returning to Vancouver up on US I-5 the view of Grouse Mountain, almost face on, was a warm welcome home. I think this shot will be my favorite this month.

Thanks! That angle caught me by surprise as well... which prompted me to try and photograph it.

Here's a shot that's been done many times before, by nearly every photographer that lives here... I just wanted to make sure my camera works the same as everyone else :)
