I really liked this design and the team colors are very nice here as well. I did notice on your latest shot, the back tire is almost flat and seemed funny that it is a restoration except maybe that tire :)
Where is this place with all the cool cars?

Yep, that tire was looking decidedly low. They probably fire up the motor periodically, but I doubt the car gets driven much. If it it were offered for sale, the price would likely be well into 7 figures.

This museum/shop is Canepa Design in Scotts Valley, California. Bruce Canepa is a former Porsche team driver from the late 70's and 80's. The shop is well known for Federalizing Porsche 959s, and it's always a trip to visit them and see 8 or 9 of these cars in various states of disassembly. They are also restoring the very first Duesenburg ever made. It was constructed especially for the scion of the Dole family, as in Dole pineapple.

I have visited there a few times with a small group of BMW enthusiast friends. We usually follow it with a visit to a German restaurant in Boulder Creek called the Tyrolean Inn.

Just not feeling that creative today. Lots of pressure at work and after my run it was sunset. It wasn't an interesting sunset, either. Anyway, I'm attempting some humor here by claiming the local wildlife is getting stir crazy with the snow and ice still around here. Schools have been out the entire week now, which has never happened in the 25+ years I've been in the Atlanta area.

Can anyone confirm this is a House Sparrow? That's what I've narrowed this bird down to but I'm not 100% sure. Please and thank you. :D

Times Square

HDR'd a little to even out the light.
This is the view as you emerge from the subway at the south end of Times Square. It always sends a shiver down my spine.

I have a transformer like toy of the car. When I was young I wondered what kind of car it was. Now I know :D

If anyone wonders what it's like to be behind the wheel, it looks like Canepa Design posted an in-car video of Bruce driving the Gulf 917K to win its class at last year's Monterey Historics: link to video.

imovie 6

I realize this is probably not the right place for me to be, but I am brand new at this site and cannot figure out how to post a new thread.....My bad....

Anyways.....I was wondering if anyone had imovie 6 or know where I can find it. I just updated all of software and now wished I had not. I love imovie 6 and have purchased all the slick transitions for it and the other versions do not support the gee three slicks....

Any help would be greatly needed!

This is the most unusual site I saw while walking around the neighborhood checking out the (finally) melting and thawing snow: stalagmite icicles.
