The village of Near Sawrey, where children's author, Beatrix Potter, came to live...
Back to normal once again; the off-kilter feeling of something missing has just been found and righted. Looks like this should be the cover of a child's story book about magical, mystical beings or princesses and shining knights.

gave street photography a try... originally I intended on photographing the lady on the bike but as quick as put my eye to the viewfinder and took the shot... so was the guy in the harley.

The country house ideal: Brathay Hall and an uninterrupted view...
And the ideal photo too, complete with spot-lighting on the house and the herd of sheep. You even got clouds that form leading lines to the house. Wonderful.
I don't think it's possible for you to take a bad shot, another beautiful winner.

This leaf, and others like it in our backyard, show the harsh drought we are having here in SE Michigan! We need rain so bad.

Yes, terrific patterns. It would make a great subject for some strobist shots...a raking light with some crazy gels, maybe...just thinking outloud here...

Looks like you won't have to worry about the "dislike button" anymore, seems to be gone. My opinion, if you are asking someone to "vote" you should have more than one choice, either or so to speak. Now, you get to vote "yes" or none at all. Are we being too politically correct here with only one choice in the positive? My view is that either you should have both "up/down" arrows or none at all.
