Went new car shopping yesterday and snapped this quick photo of a vintage car on display in the small showroom (it was the only car there).

Monday July 2nd, on 1 week family vacation enjoying the NC Outer Banks beach, then the sea came alive with dolphins diving for these schools of fish.
One of the coolest things we have ever seen, like being in a Planet Earth documentary.

I shot this with my Canon T1i and 70-200mm lens with 2x TC.
This is one of the best ones, kinda hard at 400mm getting them in focus.
Plus, imagine myself in swim shorts with 3 kids running along the beach taking pictures, as the fish school and dolphins were moving parallel to the shore.
They were between 2 sand bars at low tide.
There are 3 dolphins here, the 1 you see and the 2 attacking the school of fish.

This is a picture of the southern portion of the Madison Valley seen from between Virginia City and Ennis, Montana. A quick afternoon thunderstorm was approaching me rapidly from behind and darkening the foreground. With the contrasting lighting and me armed with only my camera and none of my other gear (my wife and I on the spur of the moment decided to take an afternoon car ride), I tried the 5D3's in camera HDR mode for this shot. I'll definitely have to re-visit this spot again. This time later in the afternoon and with more of my gear.

Nice series of pictures, appie. Makes me long to be sitting on a beach somewhere with some liquid refreshment in my hand!:)

Thanks fcortese! Yes, you can here easily sip a beer along the beach. Weather has a pattern here these days, so this time i was anticipating thunderstorms to develop around my favorite location. I had to race back to my apartment though, in order to stay safe and dry :)

Here is a picture I took in Old Montreal, added some HDR effect to pronounce the bricks!

Great shot! That's a really rare car...Those old Lincolns with the V12...Was it for sale?

This car has been in the showroom for the past two years w/o a price tag on it. But I'm sure if someone made them the right offer...

I awoke this morning to a fiery sunrise. It's forest fire season out here in the western US so we are seeing a lot of red skies at sunset and sunrise, I snapped this just outside my back door. The foreground isn't interesting, but I wanted to capture the red sun and sky.
