Landscape Like Butter by mellamopaolo, on Flickr from memory it was something like 1/100 sec f/10 ISO 200 shot at 55mm on the Canon kit zoom. It was heavily cropped in and content aware filled to remove all kinds of crap that was in the foreground.

Atmospheric ! Nice to see how the formation in the foreground leads the viewer into the frame.

Speaking of frames, spotted this in a roadside "second hand" store today. It's a classic ! I wish now I'd laid out the bucks !

I think the peaks in the mountains in the painting are EXACTLY the same ones you captured Phrasikleia ! What a coincidence...

Just got back from 3 weeks in Newfoundland and Labrador with a few :)eek:) shots to process. WOW...what an amazing and beautiful part of our country!

Btw...everyone said to say "hi" BarryJ.

In the meantime, this is one from this morning...a Great Blue Heron shot that I've been after.

My second day out with a proper camera. Still not as good as you guys but enjoyed myself none the same (except for getting sun burnt).

Well, you made my day. What a laugh. Thanks for that! I'm looking forward to seeing your posts from my beloved "Rock"... and I'm happy to hear you had an enjoyable time and I really like your Heron shot. Here's one from Newfoundland's Western Brook Pond. I took this shot using an old Sony DSC F717... but IMHO, I think it captures the mood of the place. I posted this shot some years previous. Cheers and thanks for the chuckle:
