Love playing with my camera, just wish I could take pictures like others are posting here. Took a bunch yesterday and liked this one, even though its kind of dark.

Could you please upload the original - higher resolution version ? I like it.

Thanks.

The composition is good but just a suggestion that a bit of post processing would help. You could try to straighten the horizon and recover some shadows (dogs face).

There are a few spots most photographers usually flock to but you have to show up EARLY. Once those crowds start building up, it's almost impossible for even an ant to squeeze through. I just shot the 4th of July fireworks seven consecutive nights (last night being the last one) and each night I had to get there at least 90 minutes prior to show time just to secure my spot. Even then, you have to pray you don't end up with some kid next to you who's going to keep bumping into your tripod. I had to throw away many shots due to motion blur.

Looks like I managed to stumble into one of the green areas on my own, then. I did get a shot of fireworks from the dock on the other side of the lake one night.

Thanks. Here is the original zipped up. I will have to play around with PS and see what I can do to lighten up the shadows and straighten it out. Thanks for the ideas.

You must have been a wee tot to get in those boats :p

The miniature effect has worked pretty well there hasn't it. Just sandcastles on the beach and ice-cream milkshakes for my childhood holidays, no boats, always preferred terra firma. Just wanted to share a little corner of our world :)

Camera: Fujifilm X-E1
Exposure: 6 seconds
Aperture: f/16.0
Focal Length: 35 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Program: Manual
Software: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.0 (Macintosh)

I love the coloring in this one, genshi. Not quite 50 shades of gray, buttery layering and ominous. A different look to a location that has been photographed to death. (I am planning a trip for the fall of 2015 )

That is a cool shot. That doggy looks a little surreal. Nice to see you were able to rescue the shot. Mine for today, a shot of some bottles at the road side junk shop.

Like others have said. The treatment, colour / light is really nice. I'd make a print !

The Transportation & Ticket Center (TTC) is definitely one of the best places to photograph the Magic Kingdom fireworks. There's also a viewing deck at the top of the Contemporary Resort that's next on my list. It's located right outside of the California Grill Restaurant.
