This happened close to where I live. Such a tragedy, but I am glad most walked away fine.
Beautiful Lower Antelope Canyon.....looks even better when you get inside.

While visiting Cedar Michigan Wed July 3rd 2013, on way back to Leelanau's Rustic Resort saw this full rainbow over Lake Leelanau, taken with my iPhone4.
My Canon T1i DSLR was in the cottage, and the rainbow had peaked so quickly rushed onto the dock to capture it.
Did six images, and stitched them in the iPhone, pretty happy how it came out considering a cell phone camera.

The one photo disappointment I have while I was at Disney over Christmas was I didn't get a good fireworks picture at the Magic Kingdom. I need to find a good spot for next time I'm there.
One hope I had while I was in the area was a good sunset over the Mackinac Bridge. I had 2 nights to try it. I hit the jackpot on the first night.

There are a few spots most photographers usually flock to but you have to show up EARLY. Once those crowds start building up, it's almost impossible for even an ant to squeeze through. I just shot the 4th of July fireworks seven consecutive nights (last night being the last one) and each night I had to get there at least 90 minutes prior to show time just to secure my spot. Even then, you have to pray you don't end up with some kid next to you who's going to keep bumping into your tripod. I had to throw away many shots due to motion blur.

Inside Lower Antelope Canyon .... not a good place for the claustrophobic or morbidly obese .
