Thank you. It was a magical session, a few days ago, to watch these two guys mowing. They seemed to communicate telepathically, covering the ground so quickly.

I’ve been doing a job these past few weeks, photographing nature reserves. Some of them were photogenic, a lot of them weren’t. I hadn’t got any worthwhile pix of this location, but it looked so different when carpeted with wildflowers...

You have to climb up and down 100+ steps to get to this view of the upper Taquamenon Falls. The orange color in the water is from the high concentration of iron.

Really nice.

Perhaps a little on the dark side considering the setting but still a very moody shot!

Thanks I was doing quite a few High Key B&W's but did this just to mix it up and It came out pretty well,

FWIW I really enjoy your portraits, I really liked the girl on the bed you posted up a while back, I think it was a scanned film shot.

(Ps if that wasnt you I'm sorry..my memory isnt what it used to be!!!)

I love the coloring in this one, genshi. Not quite 50 shades of gray, buttery layering and ominous. A different look to a location that has been photographed to death. (I am planning a trip for the fall of 2015 )

Like others have said. The treatment, colour / light is really nice. I'd make a print !

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the kind words! Here is another one from the shoot yesterday -

This is the one that stole my breath!:cool:

You must be loving your X-E1.

:) Thank you.

And yes, coming from a Canon DSLR, the Fujifilm X-E1 has been surprising me every time I shoot with it. Definitely my favorite digital camera I've ever used (haven't tried a digital Leica yet, but this is close enough!)

Behind the scenes photo of me during the shoot -
