A bit of fill flash for a catchlight in the eye, and if possible a lower perspective would work here. Which lake does this bird live in?

Is that Ice-T ? If so, the waistline is a far too real reminder that age is creeping up on all of us.
I thought the same thing! I don't think it's him though. I mean, I know he's 53, but he doesn't look like that at all in the pictures I've seen. Maybe a lot changed in 3 years.
Looking back over the past few pages there's some outstanding work being posted, great work all!
A few stood out to me:
I like the gentle and peaceful mood created by silky smooth water in the setting (or rising) sun in the background, the fallen tree adds a sense of direction, further leading the eye in. Good work!
I like the contrast of layers going on here, the smooth flowing water, a neutral middle ground and sharp white roots against shadow.
I like this a lot. the colors are a great capture and I like the reflection. There's too much distance between the moon and the reflection, though. Next time move the horizon down by about 1/3...

^^^ Bummer. Man that's got to be frustrating. It still was a beautiful shot.I know I know, I was on a pier and right as I was about to get the perfect shot I was kicked out, so had to hurriedly run down to the beach, by the time I'd set up, it had moved far too high for it to frame decently.
Wine angle?wide angle wine ...

That's a sweet photo! How do you get that effect where you see the clouds going off into the distance but somehow its perfectly centered. Is that just the effect from a wide angle lens or something?
Here is mine for the day... Dale I might need some help with identifying this guy. I'm going to say its a Northern Harrier as it had a fairly large white strip on its tail when in flight. He got pretty close to me. Almost full frame on my camera![]()
