I pre-orded for store pick up.
Does anyone know if Apple will do a trade-in that day or will I have to mail in my old phone?

I ordered for delivery. I'm thinking of calling and trying to get store pickup.
Am I wrong that Stores won't have the 6+ in stock at all? I was wondering if I did store pickup, I could change it to the 6+ if I wanted - but if they won't have ANY stock, then I'll have it delivered
Everyone is processing , charge or not.
My theory is each store gets there own list of pickups. Employees go in a charge the cards, your store just didn't do it yet
Pretty certain they are all considered online sales, and processed by Apple.com, not the stores. At least that is how it was with the iPad Air launch last year.

Has anyone had their phone serial number added to their support page in apple? Mine has not and was hoping to see it soon.
I pre-ordered through Apple, and when I log in to the AT&T website, it shows I have an order but basically no information about it. Furthermore, it says I'm not available for an upgrade anymore. Are any other AT&T folks seeing the same thing?
Not eligible for an upgrade either. A Future upgrade on April 15th 2016 may be available.
Where do you see the order?
It's on the My Orders when logged into my AT&T account. There could be an order shown because of something I had done initially with the pre-order though. I initially had pre-ordered through AT&T, but when I realized I wouldn't be able to be home to sign for delivery on the 19th, I cancelled the order with AT&T and pre-ordered through Apple. Everything on AT&T's end says it was cancelled, BUT it was now showing that I wasn't available for an upgrade until 2016. I was trying to make sure the upgrade eligibility of 04/13/2016 was normal with people who preordered through Apple. If it wasn't, there was still something messed up on AT&T's end.
Adding in one more datapoint:
- Ordered via Apple Store
- W-prefixed order number
- AMEX card authorized for full amount, not yet charged
- Still in "Processing" phase
- Picking up at Apple Store Soho
Ahh, I see. I checked "my orders" and it is empty, which is good.
Probably won't until you pick it up. I don't think they assign individual iPhones for in-store pickup. That would be ridiculous. Imagine the people in the back having to go thru 100s of iPhones to find yours.
