Went ahead and ordered the pixelskin HD. It appears this one will not be around for long. I can wait an extra week for it.

Honestly, I can wait because I already love my black bumper. I might NOT even take the PixelSkin HD out of the packaging just for better resale value.
One thing about the PixelSkin HD case is if I take it out and install it to my iPhone 4, I can be alot more rugged with my phone than with a black bumper. I still coddle my iPhone 4 like a baby with a bumper on. The protection on the back just isn't there and the lip isn't as thick on either side. The PixelSkin HD looks far sturdier for any concrete drops.
I think the PixelSkin HD became the popular choice for most people who already got the black bumper and didn't really want a duplicate of the same thing. I got choices when it is finally delivered to me. I'm put in a catch-22.

I went with the pixelskin, but when I saw the shipping date, I ordered the pixelskin from amazon, $24 shipped to my door and I will have it next week.

Apple is becoming a joke...have they no respect. Instead of making people wait...why not send them a freakin $30 check and let them buy whatever they want. No use our app and wait almost 2 months for a piece of plastic.....come on now...who is running this company....PUT ME IN CHARGE lol
What time did you order yours? I ordered mine at 8am CST, and it ships August 27.
Ordered mine 1 hour after you and I'm Sept 3rd.
The above poster is right....instead of sending a $30 check or voucher they likely pay $5 if that per case. Also a good % won't even apply for one. Still it is annoying to have to wait 6-8 weeks for it. Maybe they do it to force you to buy something in the mean while.....very shady
Did you notice that when you open the app it says something about how you should only apply if you are actually having reception issues? Riiiight. Lol.

Just got my speck hd case today ordered it from eBay last week. Great case! You guys will love it!!!!
It may get shipped early though. A lot of people who are ordering iPhones now are getting them shipped before the 3 week mark, some sooner than others. My 3 week mark is tomorrow but it shipped two days ago and I've seen some post on here of them even being shipped even sooner than 3 days before. But I'm glad I already bought a bumper in stores.
It went live a little before 6am PST that may be the reason for the long delay. Also who knows they could just be putting the dates as an estimate and might ship it early once they get the numbers squared away like with the bumper/iPhone orders.
When I ordered the pixelskin hd they said it would take 3-5 weeks meanin it should be here in august or sooner
