Big deal? This is supposed to be a solution to a flawed product. Temporary solution... that takes 2 months to arrive.
I ordered the PixelSkin HD too. Do you think, that the delivery date for this free cases changes?

I know right?!? Well i ordered my otterbox defender case so we'll see ho that one goes and if it didn't work out, i still have the pixelskin to look forward to

I agree, i won't get my HD till the week of 11/1/10. why bother having Speck involved if they can't produce fast enough. should just take this off the list.
If that poll is anywhere close to accurate, 25% of all owners are going with this one case. Imagine the sheer number of cases that is, and how many they would usually sell if it were only one of hundreds of paid cases.

Ya I agree. If this case is going to take this long to produce, then I think it's almost to the point where Apple should pull it. In the next couple of days it's going to get to the point where some won't get their cases until the next iPhone is released....
It's the best case on the list and it sure is lining the pockets of Speck.

I still haven't been able to get the app to work. I've gotten nothing but "unable to process your request" for days now. Guess it's time to call Apple, or go to my store and see if they can put me down for one. Sheesh.
Who really has their phone nekkid as they wait on the free case from uncle Stevie? I'm thinking hardly any, so this free case is more of a bribe to quiet all the complainers(sensationalist journalists/bloggers). For the average Joe who has learned to live with the problem, or never had a problem, it's a small bonus. For those really bothered by the problem this is no solution at all.
Yeah, it's not like they tell you how long it will take to arrive. Oh wait.....
People see the estimated arrival date and are still willing to wait. If you're not, get one of the other cases.

My ship date blows my mind though.

I am currently using the same rubber case for my 3G since I got my iPhone 4 last night, but obviously it doesnt fit right and feels weird. What options do I have tho? It feels weird holding it nekkid and I tend to drop things.
My ship date blows my mind though.

We ordered the cheap $3 cases off of eBay as a hold-over. Comes from Hong Kong so it's probably filled with so much lead that I'm glad I don't have any kids.
(Kidding people!) Ordered the phones from the AT&T store and the cases both this past Saturday, and I JUST got the email from my wife that the phones came in. Quicker than the cases... happy though!
That's the standard script. The REAL script comes in the form of a confirmation email.
I'm will probably order my free case tonight. Hopefully the PSHD is still available and will deliver before Christmas.
For now, I have a couple Hong Kong cases I got for a buck a piece. A red bumper and a black silicone case. I hope the red bumper fits well because it looks pretty cool.

I just did the same. Ordered a $3 skin off ebay to hold me over for the Pixelskin HD. Hoping the Pixelskin comes in sooner then October 23rd though.

I'm not sure we should trust these ship dates. I ordered my PSHD on 7/30, one day after you. And my delivery date is Sept. 30. That makes no sense that I'd get mine a month before you.
If anything, I feel like these are exaggerated ship dates to attempt to sway people to order some of the other cases instead, thus balancing out the load.
Or maybe not. Makes sense to me though.
