Never like the guy.. his energy is annoying to watch and his voice is just making it worse.. AM SO GLAD the show failed.

The show was ****. It was just a glorified advert for the App Store and that is not 'content'. It was pretty brazen to think that a show plugging your store was going to be considered good content.

So you blame everyone, but yourself. Typical loser.

I have no idea why anyone even listens to this guy, strikes me as weak people too scared to push back or question. Arrogance and bullying gets you far in the business world. I listen to Gary Vaynerchuk talk, watching the small man squawking out his opinions and mantras like cold hard facts no one else has discovered, remembering his 160 mil net worth, look into his tired dark circled eyes and can't help but feel sorry for a guy who just hasn't got life right...

Gary is a nice guy, a little ADHD with some profoundly helpful insights but mostly one of these modern day self help gurus who claims success and you can have my success too just use these steps and be woke! It’s kinda laughable that he thinks he’s a marking genius too.

Reality is the show was niche interest garbage with dumb celebs who didn’t know the field with boring apps. Apple didn’t market it because they realised they’d funded a turkey! Apple can market pretty well as good as anyone. I think Gary has a dented pride and might even be trying to mitigate bad PR problems in his own company.

Couldn't make it through a single episode:
obnoxious, vapid hosts (Will.I.Am, Paltrow and Vaynerchuk) giving their rather retarded opinions on mostly BS apps that that we don't need, wrapped in a low-class packaging. Pretty much everything that is wrong with TV - and your 30% commercials have been replaced with interstitial Apple product placement.

I hate to say it but in this case: SJ would never have allowed this (he was known for not spending time watching TV)

But for $*# sake, dumping on Gary as being a loser is just plain ignorant. Mulitple best selling books, a 100+ Million agency with top clients, a line of shoes that stores can't keep in stock and endless other successes... as well as being a damn nice guy.
Oh really?

Tell that to all the people whose cable and internet bills will get jacked up because we’re no longer interested in regulating anything.

Tell that to the kids getting brain damage from lead poisoning in their water for the same reason.

Tell that to the woman who got raped and can’t get an abortion.

Tell that to the single mother working 3 jobs to scrape by while her companys’ CEOs are building their 4th beach houses because corporations enjoying record profits and record executive salaries are feeling squeezed.

What he means is it won’t make a difference to him, because he’ll still be filthy rich and won’t have to deal with anything unpleasant either way. Screw Vaynerchuk, guy is a complete douchenozzle.

I watched the first episode and stopped after about 10 minutes as it was very cringy. No marketing can save an uninteresting and unwatchable concept.

The show failed because:

Gary Vaynerchuk is annoying. Nobody can figure out what he does or why he thinks he is the man. Whenever his videos come up on social media I just hit the 'Report' button and choose the 'Spam' or 'Scam' option.

Gwyneth Paltrow is privileged out-of-touch rich chick who used her fame to build a brand that defrauds women and encourages women to be stupid by selling complete quackery like Jade Eggs to strengthen their vaginas.

Same as above with Jessica Alba. So far this casting is a disaster and would offend most real entrepreneurs who had no fame and worked to the bone from poverty.

Then we add Will.I.Am to the mix. Overexposed, overrated, overpaid, and has an annoying name.

The only way this show could have been a bigger failure would be to add Ashton Kutcher to the mix.
Spot on analysis!

Sounds like a terrible mentor if all he did was bite his lip and not say anything. Also sounds like a weak investor if he's not prepared to fight his corner.

Ultimately, sounds like he was a tool who was hoping to just sit back and make $$

IF YOU SAY IT LOUD ENOUGH THEN PEOPLE WILL THINK THAT IT MEANS SOMETHING!

Man. I'd hate to be his friend; Constantly under assessment and never knowing when you're 'out' once he decides you're a 'loser'. Life's too short. Relaxing, and enjoying relationships, and what other people have to say - that's what I call success. Winning, Winning, Winning, at whatever cost, is burnout, and we all die alone, some more alone than others.

But, hey: Success!

People don't want smug, self-congratulatory, self-absorbed content. They want drama, action, comedy, sci-fi, documentaries. I don't want to see some B-grade actor and comedian singing in a car. I don't want hacks talking about dumb ideas to judges who are also self-proclaimed experts. You are not "in", you're are not "VIP", this is just garbage pure and simple.

To put a South Park spin on it. Stop smelling your own farts.

Never heard of it.

But then again why should I have?

Shouldn't Apple be working harder on figuring out wireless charging ( rest of the world seems to have it down ) and making a Mac Pro people want to buy.

Spending billion+ on some headphones doesn't seem to have worked out too well for them, not saying they are not making a profit, but Apple and Beats don't seem to have done much together.

It's always classy and the sign of a real professional to point fingers when something like this has failed.

With a sufficiently entertaining or charismatic host, something like that could fly. If people will watch reaction or unboxing videos, there's no reason they wouldn't watch this. I think he would do himself a favor to consider what failed beyond marketing instead of assigning blame.

Gary, buy a mirror, sit in front of it and tell the guy you see how he shares the blame for this failed experiment. That Apple would even put this out explains the current state of problems with Apple products in fine detail. There is rot at the top folks.

Even Apple can't polish ****. The potential audience of this show heard about this show months before, during, and after the show was released from every tech news and blog in existence, they just didn't care to watch it or enjoy it when they did.

Shark Tank for apps. Doesn't appeal to the average Joe like Shark Tank does due to the technical aspect and unknowns of creating apps. VERY specialized.
