Universal PlaySnap — Quiz with Your Own Photos

Hey everyone!

I'm Alejandro, developer of PlaySnap, a daily photo memory game now available on the App Store.

What is it?
PlaySnap shows you photos you took on the same day in previous years — like a little time machine through your own life. One challenge per day. The question: how well do you remember your own past?

Features:

• One game every 24 hours with photos from your own library

• Four question types: year exact, year multiple choice, location map, location multiple choice

• Jokers: swap photo, 50/50, location hint

• Game modes: Daily, Custom, Year Quiz, Map Mode (Like Geoguessr)

• Fix your memories — edit wrong dates/locations directly in the app

• Game Center integration — compete with friends

• Share moments — send photos with the quiz question to friends

• Privacy: photos never leave your device, all processing is local

Great unique trivia concept and love the fact it is pay once.

A few points though:

- Track personalized data: I do wonder why you need to track personal data such as ID, userdata as indicated in the App Store? Isn't it possible to only track anonymized data (or not at all).

- Please add Family Sharing support in a future update
- Make sure translation is active everywhere e.g. subtext when access to photos has to be granted it appears this subtext is in Spanish ('necesita acceder a tus fotos ..') while I'm in The Netherlands?
- add landscape support
- add controller support to play with e.g Backbone One controller or Razer Nexus.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! Regarding your question about data tracking — the ID is only used for ads, and if you reject the permission, no tracking happens at all.
Good catch on the translation issue, I'll fix that.
