No movement here. Just that same ambiguously annoying message. It’s not okay for Apple to charge our cards and not actually ship the phones for 6 days (in my case) and counting, ship and charge within the delivery window, that’s fair, but this, ridiculous imo
Yep that seems to be the main UPS plane out of Korea that our iphones over past week have moved with. Mine started moving on the 29th of September and I had it by morning of the 30th of September
Yep mine on the 29th of September did that same layaway in Anchorage. It got to Louisville half hour past midnight and was scanned for import around 1:30 and on way to me by 4 AM EDT arrived in my town in East Centeral Illinois by 6:30 AM CDT. Normally it takes twice as long but I guess when they come that late they get flown out of Louisville
That was the part I was curious about. It must run on a non-standard delivery time yet still make the end of tomorrow drop off.

Yep. Someone else told me that if they arrived normal morning time (say 6 AM) then if trucking can get them there the day before they do trucks but if they arrive early morning of day they are supposed to deliver they seem to generally then fly them. Of course if you are a longer way from Louisville than a few hours by truck it seems they fly them to next leg of journey all the timeThat was the part I was curious about. That’s nuts, for most the average wait at airport seems to be 4 days, something weird about yours. As I mentioned it seems getting planes at ZhengZhou airport seems to probably be issue till they can take the next batch to Incheon Korea where the UPS99 takes these groups to Louisville via Anchorage in past week batches. I would think yours would have gone by now
Same with mine with that 30th date. Hopefully ours will be on the plane tomorrow, since it appears that folks who had the "Your package has been released by.." had a date of the 29th... I can always dream.

I talked to an Apple guy last week and he said the UPS date, which was today, was the correct date. Well, we now know that isn't correct anymore. I talked to a different Apple person today and he said the 11th is the actual delivery date. Maybe, just maybe, I could talk to a third Apple employee and get a complete different date. Hey, at least the are delivering my trade-in boxes today.

ordered on 20 Sept. email state delivers 19 oct - 26 oct.
however, saw it was preparing to ship like 1 oct in the apple store app
received ship & invoice email on 2 oct. ship mail says 4 oct.
but somehow dhl did deliver on 3 oct/sunday (it said with delivery courier on dhl i was surprised)
apple website sg is now showing delivers 3 nov - 11 nov.

I'm in the same situation. It's been released by the government since 10/1. Nothing has changed since.
My is in the same situation since the 30th. It looks like your phone is still sitting in China. Once it starts moving again, it should go to Korea then onto Alaska.
No movement at all on my package which still says delivery for today…. Beyond livid since I leave on a business trip wednesday….
For those of us who have these significant delays, it's important to give feedback to Apple directly.
I rang them this morning, knowing it's not going to change my delayed delivery date, but to give them direct feedback about my unhappiness with this process - I mentioned the shipping delays, charging my cc for the phone early, and also for the warranty period beginning early.

I have been doing the same thing but I am not always sure it makes much of a difference
Well it can't hurt, the more feedback the better IMO
apparently they are sending me a coupon which doesn't mean much to me.
I agree, I'm just not sure how much of an impact our complaints will have. Hey at least they are sending you something...that's at least a start. Although I am sure you would rather have the phone.
Well finally some movement for my order. Like many others didn’t have any updates since 9/30 on UPS app. Latest update was this morning that my package has left Korea and a rescheduled delivery of Wed. 10/6. Was originally estimated by UPS for 10/4 and on Apple store app 10/5. Hope everyone still stuck in China gets some movement soon.

I preordered before 1 pm PST on the 17th. Used my Apple Card and haven’t had any movement (13 PM 1 tb), card has shown pending transaction since the order was placed on 17th and estimated delivery is the 18th to the 26th. Original had an order before 8:45 am but the dates were already to the 6-11th for delivery (had to redo it as Verizon made it sound I could get a higher trade in amount that turned out it was only for new lines). With reading these posts sounds like it will be close to or on those dates if not later. Tracking by reference also shows nothing entered in UPS either. Gonna be a long month of waiting since all of the accessories I ordered have been here since the 28th.
