Today’s flight out of Incheon has landed in Anchorage. 2 hrs until it continues to Louisville with an ETA of 12:45am 10/5/2021 landing before final distribution.
UPS 99 should be the flight to Louisville.
Same! Looks like it was a 4 hour turn around at anchorage, I have the official delivery email from UPS also.Well, I have a 12:02 scan into Anchorage, and UPS99 left over an hour ago, but no departure scan yet.
So I’m either on another plane or the scans haven’t caught up yet.
We’ll see!
Edit: and 17m later the departure scan shows from Anchorage.
Long journey yet and less than 24hrs until delivery!
The issue is Apple charging over a week ago. You may not mind giving a nearly $1T corp a $1500 loan, but I do. They need to charge after customs are cleared, not before.Strange that it looks like my UPS tracking all just updated overnight….it looks like it’ll be tomorrow but that’s still a day early.
Again y’all need to relax a bit. You’re still getting the phone before Apple had initially promised it. You’re just impatient. Nevermind the fact that the supply chain is an absolute disaster right now too and Apple still is pulling this off.
They have no control over that. So that expectation is a bit unrealistic. The issue is Apple charging over a week ago. You may not mind giving a nearly $1T corp a $1500 loan, but I do. They need to charge after customs are cleared, not before.

I also use AUP so it’s next to impact to my monthly cost.
I agree. The fact that mine, and many others, have been sitting in China without any movement for days is ridiculous. I can’t see any reason why they would just sit there when others are being shipped out.A trillion dollar company with a huge phone launch doesn't have the ability to control how things get processed through customs? Seriously?
I am willing to give apple a LOT of slack, the whole nonsense with the phone scanning was a real kick in the pants, but again - I like their devices and I knew I wasn't going to change. But these are premium, PREMIUM devices that we pay a ton of money for, and they too often sit in limbo because Apple hasn't gone through the necessary steps to ensure the process is smooth and seamless, which is what's happened here.
I've never had a pre order fiasco anything to the likes of this before. This is an area I won't give Apple leeway in, they should have been more prepared. Simple as that.
So what is everyone’s guess as to if those of us with our phones on their way to Louisville will actually get our phones tomorrow, 10/5?
I wonder if the tracking/timing was similar to ours for those that have already got their phones.I looked at flights from Louisville to DFW for mine and they have a flight at 3:36am that would get it here and still have about 5hrs to get it on the right truck in time.
I think fairly realistic, but mine may be an edge case.
UPS still shows delivery tomorrow, as does the Apple app.
Same boat. Then Apple and UPSare pointing the fingers at each other, saying to call the other to get answers. I had to ask if my train out could be rescheduled to later on Wednesday as I’m hoping mine is one that moves out tomorrow morning for a potential Wednesday delivery (UPS normally delivers between 11-2 in my neighborhood)My phone now shows that it will arrive 3 and 1/2 hours in the past (meanwhile still in China with no change). Not Apples finest hour this launch.
With the amount of movement that will be required when they finally do something with these devices, I would not set your hopes any higher than Friday, and that is IF they finally ship these phones in the next 24 hours, I am losing faith at this point. I get that things can take time, but the ridiculous false expectations and incorrect dates, ambiguous delays, none of that is forgivable, someone should be able to speak to what is happening here, and more over it should be easily communicated in a track log.Same boat. Does anyone know where western Canada devices go after Alaska? I was pretty sure they don’t go back to Louisville - seems counter productive. With the amount of movement that will be required when they finally do something with these devices, I would not set your hopes any higher than Friday, and that is IF they finally ship these phones in the next 24 hours, I am losing faith at this point. I’m still going to hold out the hope. One way to know if it’s possible is if anyone that had their phones ship out from Incheon on 10/4 gets a delivery made on 10/5. If that happens and, by some sheer miracle, my phone and anyone else waiting ships on 10/5, then there’s the chance of a 10/6 delivery barring further hiccups in transit. With the amount of movement that will be required when they finally do something with these devices, I would not set your hopes any higher than Friday, and that is IF they finally ship these phones in the next 24 hours, I am losing faith at this point. I’m looking at flight ups 916 from ky to Ontario int. That’s the route previous phones have taken for me. Only question is 10/5 or 10/6 delivery at this pt. UPS says 10/6.Huh okay so my phone is in Kentucky. Okay. That’s uh… a decision I guess?
so I feel like a dumb dumb trying to figure out where the heck fire my phone is going to go after Kentucky.
I’m trying to view the outgoing flights via flight aware but that site is not really the most user friendly. I know it’s there. But where does it go next for the west coast? And considering it’s supposed to be here for delivery tomorrow afternoon, how the butts does that happen? Am I gonna get shafted and have to wait until Wednesday? Sigh.
I’ve stayed up too late and refreshed too much. It arrived in Louisville at 12:44AM. 2I’m looking at flight ups 916 from ky to Ontario int. That’s the route previous phones have taken for me. Only question is 10/5 or 10/6 delivery at this pt. UPS says 10/6.
