Only the service charges, not devices charges like NEXT payments.
Sure, but it seems like that could extend to plans as well where some/most would qualify while some might not (like the new unlimited, for example).

What are "qualified charges"?

Click where that arrow is pointed and read the fine print

It's classic att. U have the discount it just doesn't apply to unlimited. Weeeee

What are the qualified charges?

Not unlimited. It specifically states that.

Lmao:D
Dude, what a bait and switch scam.
Freaking AT&T is worst than dealing with a used car salesman.

Already discussed
You are still eligible for FAN with qualifying plan. The new unlimited is not.

Even on att SF was OK. More often than not didnt consistently have 4-5 dots but I'll provide an update once I get some phones running on tmobile.

One thing that the TMOBILE CS rep told me that their coverage map data is supplied by actual TMOBILE customers not a third party or by tmobile teams for whatever that's worth. If it's showing good coverage on tmobiles coverage map it's confirmed by an actual customer.

careful- thruput varried on my tests in exact same spots at different times of day. went from 3-4 mbbs down to 100 k in congested times

New Unlimited Plus plan will be about $95 after taxes. My grandfathered unlimited is about $75 with taxes after FAN (going up to $80 next month) so will be staying with the grandfathered. I would like Hotspot but not for $15 a month. I might go to T-mobile as I do have a hook-up code that expires on 3/31, but would like to avoid the ETF which might be close as my billing period closes on the 27th of the month, and the bill usually arrives around the 1st. Also worried about T-mobile being over-sold and congested as they have been extremely aggressive lately, but figure if it doesn't work I can always port to Verizon in September when the new iPhones arrive.

If you are on grandfather UDP, att will waive the ETF now because they raised the price to $40. I was on the old UDP and was paying 130 a month. With the hook up code, I am now paying $56 a month plus I will get 150 MasterCard gift card. Even if T-Mobile sucks in La, I can switch to Verizon.

Regardless of the carrier certain carriers work better in certain areas, states ,cities, counties etc
There's no magic bullet that works for all

Check with people in your area that have the carrier you want to get a realistic idea

Remember it's not about price it's about coverage , speed, features etc

Enough said

Oh I forgot about that. Do you know where the documentation is stating they'll waive the ETF?

If you do autopay and paperless bill you get a $5 discount so it would be $90. For me the $10 extra was worth tethering and the outside the US calls, text, data use(might not apply if you don't travel)

So I stayed on Great-grandfathered data for 60 a month which is about to go to 64 with discounts.

Can we use autopay and paperless billing to get the discount as well? I'm not sure why not.
That would offset the 5 increase.
