Really? Then I seriously hope you don't have an iPhone. Worst phone for actual phone usage. This has never been a strong point for the iphone. At best, the 3GS was decent, but every other iPhone is pedestrian when it comes voice quality, and reception. Nokia phones have been the strongest in this area.
LOL at everyone voting no. Samsung is one of the largest suppliers of iPhone parts, including the A4/A5 processors, NAND flash, and (on some devices) displays.
You're basically buying half a Samsung phone when you buy an iPhone.
This post makes more sense than anything I've ever read on this forum. I've also bolded what I think is an important point. This year, more than any in the past, more people here are clamoring for a larger screen. That says a lot and I hope Apple is listening.Naturally being an Apple forum where some would rather argue, than discuss, I'm not sure what the point is. Having every intention on voting, there's no choice "I have a Samsung and like it".
Me? I have owned every iPhone since day one, and every Android powered Galaxy S (GSM) made to date. I rate them Apple #1, then Samsung a very close #2. I've already ordered a Galaxy S3. Once I experience that phone, it may tie or exceed my smartphone expectations. I carry both an iOS & Android phone daily as I have two numbers for certain reasons. Both on AT&T which has stellar voice & data in my area, I'm very happy with both.
I have but one desire for the upcoming iPhone. It's got to have a larger display. If not, I'm not giving up, but I will keep my iPhone 4S. A milestone of negative proportions. I've never not upgraded my Apple computers, pads & phones annually.
It probably makes little, if any difference to the uninitiated that drive Apples sales volume to epic proportions. Like some of the Apple users say, it's not about specs. Just the experience.
The average Joe has no clue, other than Apples perceived as cool. Therefore Apple seemingly can do no wrong. It's their amazing marketing model.
Performance and value of a product > brand anytime. ANYTIME!
You are an idiot if you think otherwise.
Marketing can change your outlook on how you view companies. If a company is going to insult me then try to make me buy their product, why would I give them my money?
Maybe I'll get over it, but I just think companies are stupid for trying to get people to use their products by insulting the competition. I felt the same way about Apple during those god-awful "I'm a Mac" ads.
