Did you get the natural linen interior option? In your opinion, does it look like the color sample on the website? Your pictures make it look almost bright white, but maybe it's the lighting as you suggested. I chose this option too.
Just so you know the 23.5 is not real leather. It is bonded leather unlike the alano which is real leather.

I was hoping for an alano but with the way things are going and the announcement of "no new models" I'm guessing we won't see one until the end of summer....had to bite the bullet and order a levant version today, hopefully I see it before the alano announcement

But now I wonder if I'd have my case in hand today had I stuck with Levant. Oh well, another week of patience won't hurt me!

soy.. thanks for the pics.. my order is still in processing.. even though i preordered on the 15th.. i emailed about changing over to levant.. my wife emailed about changing hers over to 23.5.. no reply.. yet i read somewhere someone ordered on 23rd just got theirs?? 
don't worry i've sent a few over the last few days w/o response too, they're way over capacity for dealing with all these orders lol
Most of you probably are not aware of the original inspiration for the Portenzos.

It's a bit darker than the inside paper of a real Moleskine (which is the look I was going for). I'd say it matches the website pretty well, although monitor calibration makes a difference.
The Morocco does not quite match a real Moleskine exactly (grainier than a Moleskine). It's also more prone to fingerprinting than the Moleskine material.
There is a slight gap near the spine, BTW. But in general, this thing feels great. It really does give you the sense that you've got a big Moleskine. It's very well-crafted. I love holding it. You can disguise your iPad and be bohemian and professional at the same time!

yah my wife is a bookworm and writes.. she has a few moleskines.. wasnt dodocase the first moleskine case though?
The Wikipedia article says that bonded leather still has leather in it though so for those of us that don't do leather, it still has leather in it.
Portenzo put up new pictures of the Composition 2 case on their site.

Look at the portenzo corners of the pix of the one the poster received a few posts back...then look at the corners of the P&Q in their promo shots and in the P&Q thread and tell me which one you think looks the best. Look at post #909 look at the edge and then look at the edge of the P&Q what is with that coloured bookbinding stuff they put in there.
I'm sorry people there is no comparison...the Portenzo wins. Yes their customer service sucks now but I'd take their beautiful case over a case from a company.

Really? Order another case from another vendor and reject shipment on your Portenzo. Or get the portenzo and sell it at a premium or send it back.
It has been established that their customer service sucks and that they are apparently very bad people who steal people's ipad dreams in the middle of the night. But really beating the horse isn't going to get you anywhere here because they aren't coming here to read our posts. Are you trying to influence others or what? What are you getting from beating the horse on their abhorrent customer service in this thread? They suck in that space. But it is obvious they aren't crooks because the cases are getting into the hands of those who ordered them....

For all the heat Portenzo has gotten lately ( and rightfully so, I'll add ) they do have from what i see in pictures as the superior product. It looks crafted and careful.

Most small businesses don't get flooded with thousands of orders within a couple weeks. Obviously the Portenzos look to be quality products based on the iPad 1 reviews and as such received a flood of orders as a result.
I'd say either have patience or choose to take your business elsewhere.

It's baiting. It's throwing something against the forum wall and seeing if it sticks. Snide remarks, hints at email replies. It's passive aggressive.
The Composition and the Notebook cases are SOOOO beautiful! They Look very thin and easy to carry around.
I think the biggest problem I have in waiting is that since I don't have the case yet and every time I look at the cases or the website I want to change something (I've only done it once thank God!).
I changed from Sky Blue to Natural Linen and if I can have it my way I'll do the darker Linen used on the 23.5 cases, the closer to the color of the wood frame the better!

Wasnt someone here trolling about how beautiful Portenzo's corners were and that they didnt have that fold?
Guess all cases have them - actually Portenzo has even more folds in the corners.
