I was totally joking in my Fiji post.
I've decided on a Star Trek Motif for my Portenzo.
I just need to figure out how to attach a patch to the case. I'm trying to decidebetween a Star Fleet Command, United Federation of Planets, or Star Fleet Academy patch.
I would like to ask Darin after things tone down...what he recommends as a patch attachment method. Spray Adhesive, fabric glue, heat transfer....etc.

WTF. I ordered the Morocco on 3/8 (order 39XX) and haven't heard a word from them since. I'm not waiting until 4/11 or possibly (probably?) 4/25. That's BS.
I picked up an Incase Book Jacket 2 this weekend for $40 and I think it will do just fine. Waiting 6+ weeks for a case is not reasonable. Especially when competitors are shipping and people who ordered AFTER me already have theirs. Unacceptable.
I agree with everyone about it not being fair for the incorrect shipping times and their inability to honor the projected ship dates. The delay is mostly focused on morocco orders. So its obviously because of morocco fabric delay.
The fact that case orders placed after morocco orders are going out most likely has to do with there not being such delays on other cover options. If they don't have morocco, I don't see why they would need to come to a stop and not process non-morocco orders if they could fulfill them.
They obviously use one continuous set of order numbers. People can get non-morocco, ipad1 and even iPhone cases. People need to calm down when they see later orders going out.

The lack of communication to those with Morocco orders is the biggest problem. You can't expect your customers to troll through Facebook and forums to find out what's going on.
Email them today. They have been very responsive. Whatever happened they seem to be back on track.
Yes their customer service sucked. They are trying now. If you haven't emailed in the last two days give it one more try. You can also post to facebook, they seem to be on there answering questions as well.
Even though in this thread, Darin seemed averse to it(putting staff strictly on email/CS queries detail), he finally gave in and either hired more staff to deal with CS, or he reorganized some of his people toward that end but its all for the best.
I emailed them my cancellation request about an hour ago. We'll see what happens, I'm sure they'll get to it though.
They just have about $95 or so already since I paid through PayPal like an idiot haha
23.5 Interior Color Change
Im not sure how to quote posts. but i saw a couple posts up a question about the 23.5 case interior color change, i got a email back from darin when i asked about changing my interior color to sky blue linen.

Such a shame, the green, skyy blue and yellow would have been really nice for the 23.5 case inner lining.....
I just got an email from Darin telling me my order will ship on the 8th. Now I am really confused. I have a tracking # with an ETA of the 5th.

Just got my shipping notice on my standard Levant...ordered on 20 March, so a two week wait...that's what I was quoted when I ordered, but they still upgraded my shipping to 2nd day. I'll post pics when it comes in on Wednesday.
I received an email this morning in response to an email I sent on 3/27. It basically said due to a backorder your case will ship out on April 12th (btw 3/11 preorder).
I then receive another email two hours later - in response to an email I sent on the 28th - saying my order will ship between April 18th-April 27th.
Haha this is hilarious. They emailed me two totally different shipping times on the same order. I am thinking they really lost all control and are totally screwed up and overwhelmed. They probably have different people responding with conflicting information.
I changed to levant on a other email on the 31st so who knows what they will say when they get to that email. What's screwed up is that my preorder on 3/11 (not knowing morocco would be an issue) has been sitting there untouched while others who ordered after me get their cases sooner than I do.
I am super frustrated but ordered a treegloo and it should be here on Friday which is semi-calming. The real kicker is those of us who preordered early on are being penalized if we chose Morocco and also were promised and an email where he would give us final options and pictures.

I agree, as I wanted sky blue. Not sure why they say there isn't any other colors offered, since they allow choices for the other cases. They have to build each from scratch, so why can't they just add a different linen? I sent email to them through the website, and finally got a quote exactly from the Facebook response with 23.5 shipping info, with no answer to my question on changing interior color or to confirm my update to add camera hole. Hmmm.....
I know!!! I used to have the Sky Blue and I wanted the Natural Linen... The Wheat Linen preferably! They should change yours with mines!!!!

Poster above me, we are referencing the 23&1/2 case but yeah, if they allow linen customization on the basic notebook case, and they field custom &/exotic case design requests, you think they'd be able to allow the white 23.5 case to have colored entrails =]
The only case with interior changes is the standard black morocco and levant. You can't change the composition or the old school. With those two and the 23.5 technically there are more that you can't change the options with than cases where you can. I don't understand why you don't understand. They designed the 23.5 with those options only. It is sort of a limited edition. That is the product. If you want a different interior colour get a standard case. I'm sure that blue would look great with the black outside and the white iPad.

THEY do allow you to pick either white or black elastic, I prefer and picked black + magna grip, they ADVISE only pick a white elastic if you plan on keeping your hands immaculately clean, otherwise expect to be cleaining/washing the strap down quite a bit
With my addiction to chocolate, wine, and nachos...white elastic would be a DISASTAH.
I wonder if I can spray the levant with scotch guard. I don't want my vodka to soak it.
