If you went with another vendor don't read this post because I know what you'll say.
I told you guys. If you weren't a Portenzo customer before you couldn't understand why we put up with the confusion and the wait.
Yes their customer service was lacking. But if you were a previous owner you understood and would be willing to wait it out because the cases were so beautifully made.
I'm grateful for the people who cancelled because really it saves those beautiful cases for those who waited and stuck by Portenzo.

Based on my customer service experience with the company and based on the quality product they sell, I for one will continue to purchase Portenzo products for every iPad I buy.
My Portenzo iPad2 case arrived via FedEx yesterday. Looks great. Quality seems excellent, so no complaints. We'll see how it holds up with time. It took about two weeks from date of order. Not bad for a custom product built by guys who probably have other jobs. I'm a little disappointed people are bashing Portenzo here - it does appear they are trying their best with a level of success they hadn't imagined.
So sorry to disappoint you - what was your order number? I ordered approx 27 days ago and nothing yet not even a shipping notice. Always easy to talk from the other side of the river.

I got caught up in the Portenzo frenzy a few weeks ago and placed an order on 3/14. Since then I check this thread regularly and originally had intended not to post, but I have to say it's starting to annoy me. Closing in on 4 weeks now and my order has sat at Processing. I haven't received a single email update or anything on the website to indicate any sort of progress, aside from that they have my money from Paypal. If it weren't for the things I've read in this thread, I would have no idea what might or might not be going on with them; at the point I ordered the website was listing "starts shipping on 3/21". It's all just a bit unprofessional IMHO.
In the mean time I did what some others suggested and ordered from Pad and Quill. They list "shipping in 4-5 days" on their website. I ordered Sunday, got email confirmation, email update when they processed the order, and then another email saying it shipped today. Nothing but professional.
Been going crazy ordered on March 16th, asked repeatedly for a status as I had not heard anything, then in FB Liz tells me that they had not realized that I had ordered a composition notebook.
I did not order a composition notebook, I have no idea what I am gonna get or when I am gonna get it.
If you're the #5184 guy, I saw them respond on FB to say that they had finished yours (Notebook style) 5 min prior to you adding the stylus option through their site, so with the change to add that, they've started again and it's now going out Monday.
I don't see the comment thread anymore on FB, but I know I read it.
Yeah I am starting to think people making changes to existing orders is also to blame. I say if they build it already, then it's too late. When I order a Mac from Apple, once it's done, I don't expect them to go back and make me a new one because I changed my mind. And Apple is known for excellent customer service. I sure hope Portenzo isn't bending over backwards for everyone's changes at the expense of people who placed orders earlier and didn't change a thing. That would really suck.

Yeah they been deleting threads, but what they failed to mention is that I added the stylus option about 2 weeks ago and they acknowledged the request as they were shipping it. They must have read one of my emails as they were shipping it...
I give up pursuing this, who knows what I will get...

I blame the vendor for letting people waffle and say they can make changes up until shipping and I blame people for being indecisive over a $60 item.
