After about 10 days, my iPad 2 is loose and if I slightly tilt the case it falls out.

I sent an email to Darin about getting replacement as this never happened with my Portenzo case for the iPad 1.

Anyone else having this problem?
 
I think my morocco may be on its way. I was charged by roocase or someone in that exact amount as my portenzo last Thursday the 15th. But I didn't get a shipping notice nor is a tracking number posted on my online account. But If they billed on Thursday, wouldn't it have shipped on Thurs/or Friday? And I'm most baffled by the non existence of a shipment email.

I was charged on 4/11 but still haven't gotten a confirmation nor received it yet (despite the promised 2 day air from my pre-order). Being charge on your CC doesn't seem to communicate anything other than they have some very excitable temps. :(
 
My 3/11 Morocco order shipped this past Thursday to arrive Monday. If that helps anyone. I also did get a tracking email from Darin
 
Hrm. I've had my case for about a week and a half now. Noticed something a bit off today.

Had to take my iPad out and when I tried replacing it, the interior side of the camera hole doesn't touch the back of the iPad. For instance, I look down on the sleep button opening and I can see out through the camera hole. That doesn't make for a very "dust proof" hole.

I can't say I noticed one way or another before today if this was happening but I can't seem to place it so the gap closes.

Additionally my iPad is sinking deeper on the left side (next to the spine) while the right side has yet to depress as Darin mentioned it would.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Interior material change.

I'm waiting on a Morocco order from 3/21, which I expect to ship within the next week.

I originally ordered black interior byt am considering switching to dark blue linen because it feel it may be more durable.

Does anyone who has a case already think this is reasonable, or is the black paper interior durable enough?

Here is the response I got for the early charge of my credit card. I ordered on 3/17 order#5225

Credit card companies only give us a certain window of time to charge cards (29 days, I think). If we don't act (and that was a supply issue...), we have to contact individuals asking for authorization or an update of credit card information. That seemed like a real hassle for customers. The cards that we have charged in advance (not how we normally operate) are on our priority list. You should see a shipping notice soon.

What about the paypal orders? They took that money right when the order was placed.

I believe this was discussed somewhere earlier in the thread, but I'm not going to wade through all the posts to find it. :eek:

Some folks indicated that this is a function of Paypal. Paypal deducts the money immediately regardless of ship time.

It may be a function of PayPal, but the point is still valid; the other party (i.e. Portenzo) still gets the money immediately, right? So do PayPal payers get any priority if this is the case...

Actually I think this is a lesson for Paypals users all over the world. Don't trust Paypal, it is after all a third party company.

As a client, I will be p?ssed if somebody orders a case after me with paypal and gets priority cause they used that method of payment, I was first in queue after all!

I guess soon is a relative term when we've already been waiting 4 weeks. Here is for hoping that "soon" is in the next day or two.

Don't keep your hopes too hight. :)

I ordered my Morocco on 3/7 and my credit card was charged on 3/8 and I am still waiting 40+ days later.
