"Look and feel cheap?" I find that totally funny. have you seen the pictures in the thread? Have you read the reviews? Seen the videos?

I was only inquiring about the quality of the Morocco material. I am satisfied that the rest of the case is of high quality.

think about it though. It is a high quality case. Why would they mess it up by putting cheap material on it. right?

The morocco doesn't look cheap, actually it was what everyone wanted in the beginning because they felt it looked most like a moleskine. I didn't like it. I wanted the more leathered look of the Levant.

Why would they build such high quality cases and put cheap material on it. It doesn't compute. That is really what my first response was all about.

What's up with the wooden frame in your review? I has quite a few holes and deep ridges in it and looks very uneven.
Is it missing glue? It looks bad. And does the rubber bumpers stick out above the frame?

Did you comment on youtube? i answered on there a similar question if not.. If you are talkin about the darken areas in the layers.. its an optical illusion.. i thought the same and i felt it with my finger and the wood is there.. it just looks like its missing.. the rubber corners feel a little raised above the wood after inserting the ipad.. its not much and in fact i dont even notice it when its closed..

Hey I was checking out your video on how to add the multi gestures to the ipad 2, looks awesome, however what if you use a Mac to sync and there is no iBackupBot for the mac to edit the backup. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Actually there is a way to do it on the mac.. i havent done it personally but i saw the thread below over in the 'hacking' section..

Thats really good to hear. I hope this is the start of the end of the backlog. They should post that up on facebook to keep things positive.

I asked them the same thing yesterday and they were still waiting for it but hopeful about meeting the deadline, I'm glad its in!!!

Since your wife likes the Treegloo u r sending the 23.5 one back for a refund right. U didn't get the clear bumpers and the bumpers should be clear on the 23.5.

Have you noticed any splits in the wood? I got mine (levant) a couple of days ago and spotted a spit inside the frame right away. Today I spotted another one on the lower right hand corner on top of the frame. Boo-urns.

It might have happened during shipping but I think mine went through a real quick QC as the packaging didn't include the thank you cardboard, sticker. or instructions like the cases in your videos. I guess I was lucky as far as getting a case, ordered on the 27th and got it this week, so it fell within the time period they stated with the bump to 2day shipping. But now I'm playing the waiting game for a response to the email I sent with pictures.... hoping for a replacement or a refund. Other than that, the case is really cool.

Heard from Darin today that all ordered Levant notebooks are expected to be shipped out by the end of next week-- though it could possibly be a couple of days earlier or later. In his words, "they are very close to being completed."

I hope they have enough morocco material for my case. I ordered on the 30th which obviously is after the 3/25 date that was mentioned to be shipped by 4/25.

Sadly, someone yesterday said including mine, they only customized three cases before they decided it was slowing them down, so now the 23.5 is only available in neutral/linen color, even if you request, they will no longer agree to it =(

Actually intially i requested for a change of color for my 23.5's interior to yellow too but was rejected.. just now tried to email darin again hoping they can change their mind and accept my request coz i dont mind waiting longer too
