It looks like anyone who preordered through AT&T Premier is sitting on the backordered status. (Myself included) Has anyone had better luck with Premier?

You still have to deal with the AT&T store, which I'd rather avoid.

I sware every time I leave the store I'm signed up for two new things that aren't even correct.

When we switched over to a family plan a month ago, I come home to look at my account to see that each phone is on its own family plan with its own family texting package.

Nope. Backordered too. Also still says 'order processing' on the Premier order status site too. Kinda weird.

Let's see, about 3 reasons.

1. Why would I get in the car and go to an AT&T store, talk to a guy who probably didn't even know they released a new iPhone that morning, and continually tell him I was here to preorder something he didn't even know existed while he tried to sell me some POS LG Envy 2xq637we II for $39 with a $400 mail in rebate. It was easier to sit in my underwear and use the internet to order my phone.

2. Why would I want to, again, get in my car on the 19th and go to the AT&T store to stand in a preorder line, when I can just wait on Fedex to bring it to me?

The same thing happened to me, I ordered my 32GB iPhone on the same date at about 1:18 PM PDT, I trust in Apple but I am about to make a call so I can feel better, LOL.

I ordered mine only 2 days ago and it first said "Prepared for shipment" yesterday. I think it means they've taken a 3GS box, put your name on it, and sat it on a big table somewhere and once they are released they are going to mass deliver them all out.

Exactly what mine says except mine was ordered at 12:30 PM PDT. I did get the email about the 19th as well so at least we have something to keep our spirits high lol.
