Possibility of Arrival Before the 19th

Didnt Apple email people saying they're returning the overnight shipping fee's because it was a pointless charge?

That kinda sucks if you have to call to get it back

I also got a email from Apple saying that there was trouble activating my iPhone, so I called them and they said it was just an email sent in error. Weird.
 
Prepared for shipment

32GB white, ordered June 9, standard shipping, Tucson AZ

I think that it is possible some people may get their phones a day early. The way I figure Apple and Fedex are doing it is that they estimate how many days it will take to get the phone to you after it has been shipped (depending on your location) and send it out that many days before June 19. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes packages get delivered ahead of schedule for whatever reason. In that case, those people would get the phone early.
 
Woke up this morning and checked my status. Both of my items, including my 32GB 3G S, now say "Prepared for Shipment". Sweeet!! Last night (6/13), iPhone said "Not Yet Shipped"

16gb black ordered on the 12th. Still says not yet shipped. They have authorized my cc though, twice with $1 charges, once with the full $213.48 charge.

It took me 5 days to order, because I had to take the SIM out of my Blackberry, find my wife's 1st gen iPhone, put the SIM in it, activate it through iTunes, and finally was able to achieve the $199 price. Anyone who is on a 3G phone but still has their old phone, can go back to the 1st gen phone and AT&T thinks you have an unsubsidized 2 year old phone. At least for me it did.

that is weird why would they even be activating it? i thought u did that when it comes through itunes? or are u haveing a number ported or something?

Interesting, it did that too me too. I wasn't originally eligible until August 3rd. I checked the other day, and was able to order mine at that price as well. After I get mine shipped, I am going to put my old iPhone on my wife's line, see what happens.

BTW, this morning it said not shipped or whatever, now it says prepared for shipping. YAY!
 
where can i check the status of my preorder? i ordered the 32GB from an AT&T store on an upgrade swap.

can i see it when i login to my account on att.com? or where do i go?
 
My White 32GB 3Gs says "Prepared for Shipment" now.

When I looked this morning, it did not say that.

Looks like they are gearing up for mass mailing this upcoming week.
 
I think the possibility of arrival before the 19th is extremely high.

I just went through the pre-order process on apple.com again and the shipping status has been changed to "Ships: Delivers ON June 19th". All of the pre-orders last week said "Ships: Delivers BY June 19th".

In a few hours, China will be waking up on Monday morning, and we should hopefully start receiving tracking numbers soon.
 
This mourning it said not yet shipped, now it says prepared for shipment. 32 gb black, Kentucky. I ordered it yesterday afternoon.
 
Are the ones saying Preparing To Ship from the Apple.com site?

I have ordered from AT&T and mine still shows Backordered 1. Ordered mine on June 10 or June 11 depending on which order site I check :rolleyes:

Yes they are from apples site
 
So I cancelled my order for the 3GS because an Apple CS rep told me that I could just easily re-order to change the color. Well I cancelled it and now it is telling me that I have to go to an AT&T store to order. I called Apple and told them that the only reason I cancelled it was because they told me I could just re-order. I am so screwed. :'( I absolutely need it on the 19th.

unless your old one broke or was lost or stolen, you have no reason to absolutely need this phone by friday.

My 1st gen Iphone is broken, only part of the screen works, and I can't dial certain numbers or do certain things, and I still don't NEED the 3gs I ordered by friday.
 
hhmm i ordered a 16gb white and i skimmed through and all the ppl that ordered 16gb white that i saw hasnt shipped yet...has anyone ordered a 16 white and has seen that their shipment is ready??
 
I ordered my 32GB black 3GS very soon after the Keynote (12:18 PM PDT) and mine still says "Not Shipped". Of course, my status still says delivers by June 24th, but I got the e-mail from Apple last week explaining that was an error and that I WILL have it on the 19th.

Unless he was planning on selling it on eBay with overnight shipping and now he's screwed because he won't have it to sell... In which case I would find that pretty funny.

Actually I am leaving on vacation on Friday and not coming back for two weeks and my phone is broken.
