Possibility of Arrival Before the 19th

I ordered a 16gb white Tuesday night and mine still says Not Shipped Yet..gettin kinda worried..:confused:

I'm in the exact same boat. I ordered a 32GB black 3GS immediately after the keynote, and also received the 'assurance' email. I just called Apple to see if it was a glitch or something that it shows shipping on the 19th instead of deliver by the 19th. The lady I spoke to said that it would not ship until the 19th and they are being shipped on a priority system.

I asked why people who just ordered over the weekend get a higher priority than someone who ordered right after the keynote, and she didn't really have an answer for that. :rolleyes:

I'm still hoping that it is just a glitch, but at this point I'm planning on having to wait until the 24th. That way I can only be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed.
 
Almost seems like they are preparing shipments backwards--those who recently ordered (prior to yesterday) are being prepared, while those that ordered Wednesday, Tuesday, or keynote day are still not ready.
 
Finally got my conformation email and my phone is now ready to ship and i ordered it yesterday. Nice Apple!

When do you think we will se shipped? Tuesday or Wednesday. Maybe tomorrow!
 
Ordered mine on June 10th at 9:30 AM (EST), shipping to Medford, MA as a new line activation for the 32 GB Black and mine is still "not prepared for shipment".

What gives?
 
Well mine is STILL "not yet shipped" and was ordered at 12:30pm PDT on the 8th. I'm gonna be P/Oed if it doesn't ship until the 19th cuz everyone who ordered theirs late is sitting in a box ready to ship and mine hasn't been touched when I ordered as soon as the store came back online. :mad:
 
I wouldn't worry. I read through 6 pages of this until i got my email 1 hour ago about finally being prepared to ship.

btw: i ordered my phone 28 hours ago
 
I wonder, does the shipping method make a difference of date of shipment? Express shipping gets sent later than standard shipping.
 
I just got my email confirmation and checked the Apple Store. It is now prepared for shipment. Black 16gig ordered yesterday morning.
 
Now I'm getting mad, maybe I should have ordered with Apple... I did get to choose my new number (since I'm an AT&T employee though).

Grrr... I hope they ship and I receive before Friday!

Glad you guys that went with Apple may receive it early though.

Well, honestly, how many of us NEED the iPhone 3GS anyway? Or for that matter how many NEED an iPhone at all?

I'm a little puzzled by those who have "Priority" or "Express" shipping. When I ordered my phone on the 11th, I had no choice - it already had free standard shipping selected with no way to change it. My current status is "Prepared for Shipment" and it says delivery by the 19th.

I ordered mine on June 8 and picked priority shipping (with a $16 charge) but soon found out that it will be delivered on June 19 with free shipping. Eventually got Apple to take the priority shipping charge off but the lady couldn't guarantee a June 19th arrival.

I guess I should expect a June 22 delivery (since thats what my order status says). :(
