They would be CG anyway for an ad as clean as this.
Nope. Apple shoots ALL their products. They're not CG. I know this.

Nice fake.
1. XP in the iChat website mockup image isn't capitalized properly.
2. Sleep/wake button missing on Product (RED) version.

Ok ill tell you why its a fake! its called (apple)(shift)(3) or (4) why take pictures of a screen when you can simply use this key combo????![]()
I hope this IS a fake. Why? Two reasons:
(1) Wifi symbol is on the screen, withOUT the 3G symbol
(2) Two words: "Video Chat"
There's been a lot of talk lately about "Video CALLS." If real, this image might suggest that nothing more than iChat's "Video CHAT" feature will be added to the phone, and only when on Wifi (not even 3G). Personally, I'd get alot more out of Video CALLS than Video Chat, particularly as the number of iPhone users continues to rise.
But then again, a "Both/And" scenario would probably be best.
Thoughts?

These pictures are showing us full aluminum iPhones. Will WiFi and 3G be blocked by this material? Doesn't there need to be some plastic near the chips for a good signal?
Aside from that question, I really hope that this is the next iPhone. It is, by far, the sexiest look we have seen yet!!
engadget says that the new iphone don't have a front face camera.
I know for a fact (RED) had a contract with Motorola that does not allow them to brand phones from any other company. That is that.
Really? sure? why do it hard, if it's so easy? , or does it look more like a natural photo if they shoot it in real?
Also, there doesn't appear to be any front Camera, which would be neccisary for video chatting, and the black phone is missing one of the speaker banks
It appears the black one has a lock button on top and the red one does not. I'm calling fake, but I'd be happy if they're real.
If it was real, then we would see Apple Legal telling people to take it down by now.
These are obviously bad quality pictures taken with the images sitting in an editing program....looks like Photoshop.
So it's possible it could be "whoever" working on the site page ...and be an early draft (which is why some things are missing and not edited properly)...BUT...I don't think Apple's design team would be using a laptop. I'm sure they all have the fastest computers and the biggest monitors.
Who knows...some people on Crunch Gear are saying that this is how the early pics of the Nano leaked and there was a Cease and Desist within a day from Apple's lawyers. So if that happens then we know it's legit, if it doesnt then they are fakes.
he's bannedFolks might want to read through the posts here. This guy is claiming a lot.
Does anyone else think the BEST camera location would be IN the HOME button? I mean, they look practically the same anyway. For those that feel it would be too low, perhaps the accelerometer would allow you to flip the phone (kinda like we do with Safari now, but a complete 180º).

More problems. You can see from the side shot that the bottom is tapered like the top. Then where do the speakers go? Will they point away from you? That makes little sense.
There's simply no substitution for the real thing. Apple goes to enormous lengths in shooting their products. The have to look and feel like the real thing; like you can hold it in your hand. Hence shooting them and not using 3D.
I know this. I have a dear friend who used to work on the account...in "the vault".![]()
