I have had problems with the orientation on my iPhone 6 plus. Before I had it in landscape and when I rotated the phone to portrait, it wasn't moving back no matter what. When I hit the rotation lock, it finally went back into portrait mode. Then when I clciked off the rotation lock it automatically when into land scape again. Had to shut down the phone to fix it.

A few times it's been hard pulling down the notification center and the quick access bar.

That's happened to me on an iPad air a few times even before iOS 8.

Really?! That's a new one. Hopefully you can get that fixed somehow!

Resolved by resetting the iPhone - hold down power and home until the Apple icon appears.

This happens to me too on the iPhone 5S and the iPad mini Retina. It's really annoying The iPad usually get's stuck in portrait and the iPhone in landscape.
On the iPhone I managed to resolved it by locking the screen, on the iPad I usually have to restart it.

After installing iOS 8 on an IPad Air Mini Retina and latest gen iPod, both worked fine until I performed a reboot (Home & Power buttons) on both. Now, neither will start up. The Apple logo appears on screen, eventually fades and then turns off. I have repeated the reboot process several times now but I am unable to get either device to start. Accordingly, I'm not going to upgrade my 5S or other Apple iOS devices.

Any ideas what to do? HELP?

After others tried already ( recently ), I did reset iPhone 5 and iPad 4. No problems with restarting the devices.

My battery usage is the same on: Stand By and Usage Time.

Even though i know for a fact they aint.

On a iPhone 6+ 62GB.

3rd party keyboards don't seem to work when using the quick reply function from the lock screen.

Same for me. 3rd party is working everywhere else other then quick reply.

Was working on iPhone 5 IOS8 but since getting new iPhone and restoring my back up it don't work

I can't delete a U2 song I accidentally re-downloaded from my iCloud to my new iPhone 6+ that's not part of the "Free" album given to Apple users recently...

Even after using Apples form to remove the U2 Album, I still can't delete the old U2 song... I've tried restoring, deleting all, resyncing etc... It's still there...

Since I updated I can't get any notifications.I have notifications on for all the apps I want and banner selected but I don't get anything.

Some Apps are giving notifications but many are not

Streaming apps such as NPR and WunderRadio - both work on wifi but won't stream on LTE. Siri wouldn't work for me on LTE either. I used all of these last weekend on my run and with the same signal and same exact run on iOS 8 - nothing worked in spite of the signal being good.

I am having an issue of call drops when the network auto switches from 3G to 2G and vice versa in iOS 8.

I'm on Vodafone, Mumbai - India using iPhone 5s

Anyone else having a similar issue?

On Safari at sharing section services like add to bookmark and etc reordering doesn't work. Goes back to default.

Unfortunately, iOS 8 fell to the same case of any X.0 software. Very rarely X.0 release of software is stable enough. Because of I usually wait for X.1 releases. Having said that, I still like iOS 8.

Cannot get Airdrop to work between mine and my wife's iphone. Both BT on, phones unlocked and literally a foot apart, and both set for EVERYONE. Can't get it to work.

Had ZERO problems with it on ios7

Same issue here. Rebooted iPhone and iPad and working so far.

If you disable the default keyboard, 3rd party keyboard will work in quick reply.

In photos, streaming folder has been replaced by recently added. However, camera roll disappeared. My cameras roll and streaming folders had different photos and now I am missing some photos

Something about carriers potentially testing a build but nothing as far as being publicly released (at least not so far).

Wifi speeds keep dropping to 0 periodically on iPhone 5s. Apps complain I'm not connected to network. Other times it's fine. No rhyme or reason.

Also noticing that NO keyboard is present maybe 10% of the time I try to reply to an imessage or sms message on my iphone 5, replying from homescreen. Force-quitting and restarting the app has helped... So far.

About same percentage of the time, can't get cursor to appear on screen for text entry on iPad Air.

Have seen keyboard covering up bottom line of text when typing on iPhone 5.

Third party keyboards don't work on Spotlight - it actually displays no keyboard, without letting me revert back to the default keyboard unless I go into another app and do it from there.

What has iOS 8 done for me lately zilch! it grinds everything to a halt. I should not ve' updated my iP3, everything was fluid on iOS7.1 until the update. Is this a case of hardware & software mismatch?

I had plan to upgrade to Air 2 !

I could I have sworn I already posted this, but when I went into Spotlight on my iPhone 6 the background turned a pixelated gray instead of blur. My phone will loose Wifi and require a reboot to function again.
