Not quite in the wild, but this was taken on Tuesday when I got mine at home after ordering from Best Buy online on Saturday. I'll get some bonafide "in the wild" pics while I'm out of town this weekend.

On the left is my MacBook Air 13" from work, and on the right is the rMBP 13" (late 2012) that the rMB is replacing.

This is a very useful thread. Thanks everybody for providing pictures, insight and comments!
And congratulations to everybody who got one.
Here, shops still don't have them on display! Not even the official "Store".
Delivery time is 4-6 weeks.
I hope $work pays for (a decent) one.

Delivery time of 3-4 weeks for me over in Romandie (8-15 May). Credit card charged, but still "articles en cours de traitement" like everyone else... I also haven't seen any in stores, either in the Apple Store or any of the authorized retailers.

Now that's a beautiful picture.

All of you guys are killing me here:

I 100% want the SG model
I 100% want the Silver model
I 100% want the Gold model

Having to decide between all these is criminal :(

Go with the SG. It looks really sharp.

haha! That was my original choice up until now (think of it as a 50%SG and 25% each of the other two). I had the chance to muck around on one for all of 120 seconds a few days ago and still loved the SG.

It's a couple months off yet, but Id like to be set from now regarding the colours.

Thanks for your input, though! :)

I wanted gold until I saw them in person. Then I fell in love with a space gray.

Yes, they should have brought out the three colours in basic black. Getting knocked about like this is no good!

Out and about getting a little work done while I'm on the road. I really loving this thing after a few days of using it exclusively.

Not sure why it's showing up sideways, but when clicked on, it loads with the correct orientation.

its amazing how so many people drank the apple retina kool aid. i have a new 2014 mba 11 and the screen, and the whole computer, is wonderful. light, powerful. cool. before the mbr, everyone with an 11 mba said the same. kool aid.

I've liked and wanted the MBA for a few years now but have always took a pass on buying it for the crappy screen and huge bezels, if it was at least 1080p I would of most likely purchased one!

This rMB is a beautiful device, and seems capable with the Core M processor, abit pricey I will admit but finally a worthy device in my books. I think I'm ordering one next month (may).

With Skylake, Cannonlake, and future Intel architecture's the 12" MacBook will be a really nice device especially when the price comes down like the MBA did!
