My Halloween tree
It looks much better in person than my crappy cell phone shot would make it seem.Oops! Yes, I took my Halloween tree down Nov 1st and put my Christmas tree up the same day.

Nope, I just adore Halloween! Hence the small cemetery. Thats only some of the Halloween lights I had.
Lots of people in my area put up a lot of Halloween stuff.
Here's a few pics of our tree this year. It's my wife's thing, I'm usually only good for dragging boxes in from the garage. That's just as well, she usually spends the better part of a day decorating. I always appreciate the end result, guess I'm just getting lazier as the years go by.

We don't generally put ours up until the 22nd or 23rd either. Although that's intentional - not just cause we're lazy...

Why is that? I like to have mine up as long as possible just because i think it looks nice.
Perhaps. I don't believe in the birth of jesus, i just look at it as more of a festive winter type thing, and therefore keep it up for almost 2 months.
Partly a cultural thing? I don't think I've seen Christmas trees sold anywhere here yet...
But there's also the keeping Christmast/Advent separate. We've put up a star in the window and are burning an advent candle, but otherwise no decorations yet. Although if we were the type to decorate the outside of the house/trees we would've done that by now.
