Surely.

Projector: Epson 8100
Screen: Elite Screens Silver Frame Fixed Frame Projection Screen (100" Cine White)
Receiver: Yamaha HTR-6240BL (same exact thing as RX-V465BL)
Font Speakers: Sony SSF-7000
Center Speaker: Sony SS-CN5000
Rear Speakers: Sony SS-B1000
Subwoofer: Sony SA-W3000
Extras: WDTV, Xbox 360, Slingbox Solo, iO DVR

Before you knock the speakers, it's for my bedroom so I didn't want to go all out although I probably would have if I bought the projector first (it was a late addition - came from a plasma). Any-who, the speakers sound fantastic and for the price I paid from Amazon its better and cheaper than most "Home Theater in the Box". I was hesitant about buying them because of the price but I couldn't be happier for what I paid.

Overall, the speakers, receiver, screen, and projector all cost me ~$2100. :)[/QUOTE]

Where did you buy most of your stuff, online, in store, amazon? Just curious.
Also do you have a universal remote to control it all or separate ones?

I'd say most if not ALL at amazon. Reason being is the prices were excellent at the time and I haven't had better customer service anywhere. No questions asked on returns (30 days no restocking and if somethings wrong they'll pay for shipping even). Having a prime account at amazon also helps seeing as I got everything within 2 days for free.

As for a remote, its funny you asked because I was just about to order the Logitech Harmony One remote. I'm still up in the air with it though. Amazon has it for $150 for another day (after rebate) and I'm debating on ordering.

Awesome! Is that on living room mode? It looks great with the dim lighting.

Yeah, yeah, that's nice but did you know that Apple can do 720p? THAT is magical (although it's certainly not revolutionary).

Looks great! Is that the 8100 or 8500? Or maybe even 6100 or 6500. How do you like the remote? I was looking at getting one but I heard using the DVR on it was a hassle.

8500.

Love the remote. I haven't had any issues at all.

home-made projector fires at 1080p. Blackout curtains for the entry and the window (though, obviously the window isn't closed at foto time). 'bout a 13' screen.

I'm interested to know if you've got a worklog for your projector. It looks quite interesting.
Are there any photos of it in action?

Thanks! Why are you on a third projector?

well the first one was my intro into projectors.. a refurbed infocus sp5000, then i went to a sony aw15, which was cool but not bright enough and finally the ae2000u. i just like switching up after a while.

How's some outdoor theater??

First backyard outdoor movie showing of 2010 held Friday 8/27/10.
Perfect weather, 25+ family/friends, kids, with popcorn watched the great Pixar movie "Up!" .

Picts tell a neat story:

Watching Pixar "shorts" as got darker prior to the main feature.
At 8:50pm the ISS went overhead, I paused the feature while we all watched it go from SW to NE part of sky, a special treat.

The main feature , "Up!", a great Pixar movie to show.

16' wide x 9' tall screen, I was just happy my Sony VPL-VW60 1080p projector gave a decent and bright picture.

Who says kids don't stay still for long, this is a 5 second time exposure (on tripod).
I love how the faces are transfixed onscreen.

This is a 4 second exposure, kids loved being in front laying on the blankets.

This is the shot I was geeked to capture, the Big Dipper watching over our little movie gathering.
Now, this is a 20 second time exposure!!
Captured with my Canon T1i and 15-85 lens 15mm, f4, ISO 800.
link to 1600 pix version, bigger is better for these picts! http://lh5.ggpht.com/_FqTNmgNQHz8/THpaY-mj90I/AAAAAAAAKyU/1qP1L2inIpk/_MG_2857%20ver2.jpg

After everyone went home, my 3 kids and I went outside and captured Jupiter and her 4 moons.
This is about 11pm, just above the East horizon, Jupiter is RH/South of the Earth's moon.
Captured with my Canon T1i and 55-250 kit lens @250mm, picture cropped.

The Earth's moon (did I have to say that?), captured with my 3 kids about 11:20pm.
They went to bed right after taking this.
