This is the extent of my PPC setup. PB G4 12" 1.5Ghz. Everything else is going away. Last pick of under the desk madness.

Got my PowerBook G4 out of closet. It's been 3 years since i abandoned PowerPC as my main system. I still use PPC, but no often as back then. I have probably more then 30 Mac, lots of them are used often. Back when i used PowerPC i have had PowerBook G4 1 Ghz. This is PowerBook G4 1.67 Ghz DLSD, with 2 GB RAM and SSD, i got this 1/2 year ago. Its great machine, its still capable to be used as normal laptop, but i prefer 12" laptops.

What kind of action does your A1200 see?

I use it for playing with Workbench and KarateScript (for making demos). I love Amiga demoscene, i don't play too much games. Its A1200 with Blizzard 1230IV. I have also Amiga 4000 with 060, Mediator, Voodoo3 and Sonnet 7200 PPC card. I have lots of other computers, mostly ZX Spectrum, ZX Clones, C64 etc. I use them to watch demos and play with HW

Excellent! Amiga still going strong after all these years :)

Finally got some cat5 fished out to my garage & PMG5 up n running. It’s kind of a wonky looking rig with two free CL lcds & my wife’s high school/college stereo driving sound. Oh yeah this PMG5 has the hillbilly BT antenna I made for it too ... Yanno in case the wonky stereo sound mashup wasn’t hilljack enough :D

I’m cable management obsessed so will certainly clean this up a bit - maybe suspend the monitors off the wall. Anyhow, glad to have it back up n’ running. :)

I was running my G5 through an early 00's SONY system for awhile, but I had so many audio issues with it. It got sent to the Goodwill when we moved.

My G5 is hooked up to a Boston set of speakers with a subwoofer now and I've had no issues with that so it had to be the stereo.

Glad your system is working!

Looking great awesome Rhian! The pegboard behind the rig works great is practical.

Does the cutlery boost the Bluetooth signal? :)

All that silver plastic and aluminum looks great smart together! :apple:

Edit: I used ‘great’ a bit much there... How ‘insanely great’!

Haha, that’s actually the wedding cake knife n spatula set from our reception. Whew ten years flew by! I am unsure how to quantify the effect on my BT however :D

I am in the process of insulating & covering 3 of the 4 walls of my garage with pegboard as it was just frame. Yeah the pegboard is super handy/useful and way more affordable in both time & materials than Sheetrock.

Next garage project is to install those extra durable rubber locking floor tiles.

Coffee and Macs, a brilliant and winning combination on ANY day!

Finally have it all presentable enough to post! Came across these two last year on an impulse that I convinced my fiancé to go along with lol. He and I had parents who were deep into the graphic design world (my dad did outdoor advertising for a large nationwide company, his dad was a photographer). Picked these up for next to nothing and then tweaked them.

The Cube: stock 450mhz, Radeon 7500 added, 1.5GB Ram, 90GB SSD, Roccat USB audio (hence the soundbar) hooked up to the Cinema Display.

The MDD: started as a 1.0GHZ 133 bus, now a dual 1.33 from an Xserve with 167 bus, Radeon 9000 Pro, 2GB Ram, 120GB SSD, hooked up to the alu Cinema Display.

They are both for the sole purpose of playing older PPC games we grew up with. Him with lots of Hoyle style games, and Nanosaur (more the Cubes alley). Me with lots of Tomb Raider, Unreal, Giants, and Quake. I’ve been keeping an eye out for more upgrades for both. No real interest in the G5s though, not unless it was an interestingly spec’d out one for dirt cheap. These two were during our favorite era of Apple, we just need to add a 17” or 20” iMac G4 and it’s all we’ve ever wanted!

We also have a USB 2.0 eMac in the closet with no HDD but the screen is dying on it unfortunately. Enough ranting from me sorry, just wanted to share!

Swapped out the MDD for a 20" 1.25GHZ iMac G4. The iMac G4 is what I knew growing up (early high school), and with the FX5200 it's slightly better for gaming than the MDD actually! DVD drive is bad, so a new one plus a 240GB SSD and a 1GB internal RAM stick for a total of 2GB are all on the way!

Donated the eMac to Goodwill last weekend...with both DDR333 1GB stick in it. Oh well! They're cheap!
