You mean the low end will be £1499 -.

I don't mean... I was just copying and pasting from the Macworld site... heheh and it does indeed mean for the entry model. ;)

single

Apple always has a low end single and I think they will keep it.
A low end Dual would eat up a lot of mid range business.

it says on the picture.....dual across the board.

Since Apple Store UK has been down the longest does that mean it should be up first?
I'd stick with the US version - that usually gets updated first. Believe me, the UK store can be down for more than 2 hours, even though it says "back within the hour."

No, not always - The last time Apple did an update on the Powerbooks the US site was first up, even though the UK site was first down.

These are going to be all dual processor. Apple also did this for a time with the G4 PowerMacs as well. So there have been times before too when there was no single processor model available.

It doesn't make sense, the french and uk store reporting 2.5 ghz, the dutch is reporting 2.0???

and they were all up a little time before going offline again?
Are they teasing us??

maybe it will end up being 3 ghz??

Ok I know having PCI Express is a long shot but it's worth hoping for.

I can't wait to see what the 2.5Ghz can do in benchmarks. WWDC is going to be fun seeing the new hardware in action running the new OS.

Next year should be fun for me. I hope to get Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro 7 to start my multimedia career. Plus I'll be using Xcode for programming.

I think DVI is going to be good for giving us more graphic card choices. Someday I'll spring for a 30" also. Very cool .

All dual lineup means the lower end 970fx chips are inexpensive which is a good thing for us.

I doubt the G5 iMac will be announced until WWDC as this will be a complete redesign. Also next week Apple are going to announce International iTunes Music Store.

The rumor is that the new displays will only have DVI and not ADC, if that is the case it would appear logical that the new G5 powermacs will only have a DVI output, and hence would make sense to announce the displays at the same time. Time will tell I guess....

Say it ain't so. I want my G5 iMac now!
