Well that was a hassle. I still have yet to get the actual apple site to show anything besides "we'll be back soon", and ATTs website is just destroyed. But the apple store app worked fine, after about 15 minutes of trying. Got a 64gb for myself and a 32gb for my sister. Both white. Couldn't be more excited

$24, and that's on a 64gig

I pre-ordered at 3:20am (that's when it popped up for me) on Apple's site.
I had two browsers open - Apple and AT&T's. AT&T's counted down to a Loading... sign. FAIL. Apple's site popped up, I ordered, Gazelle box is on the way for the 4S. Done and done.

order is in... had to use the apple site as ATT was jacked. No hiccups, but it was slow... took about 10 minutes start to finish. Delivery: 9/21

It went through using apples site on my ipad.
The page on my computer kept freezing and wouldnt let me pick upgrade line.
So order went in, got the confirmation email.
Also it automaticly detected my unlimited data for AT&T and didnt even make me pick any other option. Kept it all the same.

Had to use firefox to get through the apple store. The website kept showing the maintenece message with safari.
Yeah you can even do it online through the website after logging into your account and going to the orders page. I'm doing the same thing, and did it for my last iphone as well.
Order with the iOS app. Would not let me ship it to my work, oh well. Happy my pre-order is in.

Maybe it's just me, but I usually buy the new iPhone every time it comes out, regardless if I'm eligible to upgrade or not. Right now I'm not...

I got all the way to entering my CC#, and just stopped. I couldn't do it! I started to feel good that I didn't buy it, too! My 4S is plenty fast, and the only thing I could afford is the 16GB, $449 version. I didn't want to downgrade my current capacity... on top of that, I have every new iOS6 feature in my hand right now, without having to upgrade!
Anyone else have anxiety over taking the plunge this time? Maybe its just me...
