no email yet :/

hopefully I'll be able to go to att and get a nano sim to swap phones asap

Shipping is free and I've always had delivery the day of release. I have it being sent to my work.

I did the iOS app and i thought there was an option for store pick up. Maybe not though.
 
this was by far the fastest preorder ever!!

i ordered mine plus phones for 5 friends (no i did not pay for theirs they just gave me their information) i was able to order all 6 phones in 14 minutes using the app store application on my iphone 4s..

amazing how easy this was.

oh an i got all 6 email confirmations for the orders too.

Woke up late, let the dog in cause I put him out than dozed off ordered 1 for me at 3:21 and one for the wife at 3:24 no problems!!! :cool:;):D:apple:
 
Sprint ******!!

Sprint seemed like it was gonna be easy (had a pre-order page up and ready). Around 2:30 AM (eastern time), it went down. At 3:01, still down. Had Apple Store up too and they were down. While Spring was loading (3:15-3:20), got through at Apple's site. Ordered it there and got the email confirmation. Checked back at Sprint and its still down...oh well.

I'm excited getting my first iPhone...Sprint, on the other hand...haha.;)
 
whew, that was close. Accidentally fell asleep, woke up at 3:15 EST jumped on Apples website and netted myself a black 64GB.
I cant wait! this will be my first 64 gb model. Hope I made the right decision. Hopefully my Itunes match wont go to waste now. I plan to use my camera a lot, upgrading from the ip4, and cant wait to use the camera. Did the i4s pictures and videos take up a lot of space compared to ip4?
My 32 GB always served me well, but there have been times ive been left with little storage.

Now I have to put myself into a cryogenic state. Im gonna need someone to wake me on the 21st. I dont wanna wake up in 2546 during the atheist wars and find out that no one uses a cell phone anymore
 
M order was successful through the Apple Store App, but AT&T still hasn't fixed my upgrade eligibility. I wasn't about to wait until they did to order the phone either. I have case number so I'll be giving them a call tomorrow or after the weekend to see if they are either going to credit my account or give me back money.

I was supposed to be eligible for the full subsidized price since it's been 2 years since I've purchased a phone on contract. Their system was screwed up saying I had purchased one back in March which was not the case at all.

Oh well, $600 out of pocket right now, hopefully I'll be getting about $250 of that back soon or maybe I won't have to pay the next couple of months phone bills to cover that cost.
 
I ordered my phone thru the Apple Store App on myiPad. What is so strange is The Apple store and the AT&t store are still down via IE and Safari om my PC and laptop. Weird.

I don't think you have to worry at all. you can activate them under the phone number you want at your phone carrier store
 
I purchased 2 black 16GB models and 1 black 32GB model. The apple store didn't open for me till 2:12 CST.

Does anyone know how it works with signing the contracts now? Or was that done already on the apple website? When I preordered with AT&T last year I got an email with the contract and I had to do something to make the order go through.
 
I had a rough time guys! Power went out in my neighborhood as soon as I was making my way through the Verizon Wireless process! It just came back on and I placed the order - just waiting for confirmation. Glad to hear everyone else had a quick order though!
 
Can't get through online. On the appstore app, all I got was a reservation email saying they've reserved an iPhone for me and I'll receive a follow up email to complete my online order within 24 hours. :confused:

There was the option but it didnt let you select it at least not for me

I upgraded from the 4 as well and only got the 32. The larger photo and video size worries me. I don't keep music on mine though and not a lot of apps.
 
weird

I was able to get a 32gb iphone 5 through att, then i put the wrong credit card info for my 64gb, so i reordered through att and that one got through along with a email confirmation. minutes later, i get an email confirmation for the 1st order for the 64gb using my same phone number (att said it was eligible again). I tried ordering 64gb on another phone that got the 32gb and it got through again with email confirmation. all priced at 399 for 64gb and 299 for 32gb. Ummm... yeah... 3 64gb iphone 5 and 1 32gb iphone 5 all confirmed by email
 
I said 16GB...when I checked out...somehow ordered 32GB lol...I only have 2GB left on my 16GB 4S...and I only had it for a year! I plan on using my 5 for 2 years and 32GB seemed good since I'm guessing Apps/Programs/Etc. may be larger now...

same here. on my new ipad! I didn't update the apple app store in a while and it made me update it first of course. After that, ordering was a breeze.

Don't worry I got that about 15 mins ago and they emailed me back. From there it was really easy and I got mine.
