Pre-order successful

Just ordered mine!! 2:35 central time. Easiest preorder ever! When through the first time on Apple.com!!
 
Got one for me and one for the wife. 16 GB AT&T in black and white.

Got mine at like 12:02 via the Store app, but was only able to order the second one via the Apple Store site a minute or two ago.
 
Fast and no problems here. $50 for tax hurt, overall a $799 purchase.

Oh well, YOLO, as they say. ;)

I've been waiting patiently, excited like everyone!

I got all the way to entering my CC#, and just stopped. I couldn't do it! I started to feel good that I didn't buy it, too! My 4S is plenty fast, and the only thing I could afford is the 16GB, $449 version. I didn't want to downgrade my current capacity... on top of that, I have every new iOS6 feature in my hand right now, without having to upgrade!

Anyone else have anxiety over taking the plunge this time? Maybe its just me...

No none what so ever.

This upgrade is the biggest change to the iphone yet. Get that card back out and buy it. You will end up getting it anyway. Why put it off. If you don't now, you will have to wait maybe weeks because they will be all sold out ala ipad. Do you really want to think about it for a few weeks?

You can sell your old iphone for $450. Spend the $550 and don't lose any capacity. So you are actually spending $100.00. What do you have to lose? Only the best iphone ever made. :D

I just spent $1200. Bought one for the wife not on contract, and one on contract. I do everything on my phone, run my business, it's my main camera, check my stocks, video calls, agenda, etc. With something so vital in my business, personal life, this phone I use for everything. I just spent $1200 and didn't think twice about it.

All kidding aside, don't torture yourself. Get the phone and be happy you did. :apple:

Now it's off to work I have a early meeting I have to prepare for. Good morning all. :)

I didn't get the option to add applecare. It says you can still buy it within 30 days but you have to make a genius bar appointment in order to have them apply it after inspecting your phone for damage. Annoying but at least I get to still get it.

I'll need an extra lightning cable and car charger but it doesn't look like thats available yet. I'll just wait til launch day and see if the ATT store carries them.
 
Ordered through the iphone store app....hope to change shipping address later, but I'm glad I have one on the way! 64gb black.....the app never asked me about data plan changes and such, but once ordered you can look at your order history...and it shows up there as $30 unlimited data.

Sooo can't wait.

Odd, I had no options for changing the shipping address. I tried the website as well and it wouldn't allow the change.

Going to call them in the morning and see what they can do.
 
I'm sure everyone got the message that the phone will be delivered on 21st also right? I remember seeing a thread where someone said that the phone will be shipped on the 21st not delivered.
 
Got mine.

1st one at 12:24 PST.
2nd one at 12:36 PST. (Didn't realize I could order wifes from my app, figured it out. )

Whew all, done, glad I heard about the App Store tip...
 
That was easy! Ordered from Apple.com. went to sleep at my normal time and just happened to wake up now momentarily. Took all of 1 minute to pre-order it. no problems at all. confirmation email came instantly. back to bed!
 
Guys you all are getting it shipped to your home correct? Is shipping free and release day delivery? There is no option for store pick up, at least on the Apple Store app via iPhone there isnt :confused:
 
Got m order in but I have a question. My son ordered his but they are shipping it to be the default account on verzion. He is 1500 miles away in FL going to school. Can we call apple and have the address changed to him?
 
Since at&t customer service reps and website couldnt place my order because they said there was a freeze put on placing pre-orders tonight, I hopped over to appledotcom and bamm, preorder went through :)....said delivers 9/21, lets see.
 
Help! I just attempted to buy the iPhone through the app store and I guess I wasn't able to get through so they "reserved" me one. I tried getting it through apple.com and received this:

The phone number you provided already has an iPhone reservation or open order associated with it. If you have a reservation, please follow the instructions that were emailed to you. If you have an open order, you will need to cancel it to purchase a new iPhone for this number.

I don't know what to do. Am I guaranteed a phone on the 21st?

Did you get any email? I got an email from apple with an order number not even 2 minutes after my order went through.
