Predicted iOS5 untethered jailbreak release date?(Now for A5 devices iPhone4s iPad2)

i can't wait until tomorrow when we find out there's 6 - 7 days left in December. Maybe I'll get a calendar for Christmas, then I won't have to check here to know what the date is.

I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 that's still on 4.0.1. I want to eventually upgrade to iOS5 and have an unthethered jailbreak. I'm pretty new to this stuff so I'm not sure what my options are at this point. I think I already missed my chance at updating to 5.0. Any advice as to what I should do? Update now and lose jailbreak or?

Depends... you can update and do a tethered jailbreak right now, or you can wait until an untethered jailbreak is released for 5.0(.1). You could also just upgrade to stock 5.0.1 and have no jailbreak until one is released.

My tethered 4 on iOS 5 is sweet anyways. Ask me, early adopters of the 4s expecting an immediate jailbreak getting what they deserve.. Nothing. Patience is not a river in Egypt or something like that!

The 4S was released on October 14th, so December 25th is hardly "expecting an immediate jailbreak"

Even though Dev Team hasn't said "upgrade to 5.0.1" explicitly, its common sense that the new jailbreak will support it. Why would it support just 5.0 and not 5.0.1? Even pod2g said that it WILL SUPPORT 5.0.1.

I said so like 2 weeks ago. Cant believe people really trusted this guy. Even if he had found an exploit, would he too had created a tool like redsnow on his OWN to jailbreak?? It was impossible right from the beginning.
He is just a kid that wanted to make a prank joke on christmas day. Just look how he insults everyone on his twitter.

at least now that hackman has bene shown to be a fake, maybe people will just sit back, shut up and wait patiently for the hardworking guys to do what they do
