Yes, the uploader quickly changed it. It showed an iPhone 4 being JBen, unplugged, rebooted and then opening Cydia. I think it was edited to cut out the tethered reboot.

Well, it is a good jailbreak, but as far as a quick release, not so fast.
Lots of factors to consider.
Is he able to extend it to 5.0.1 (there are some differences but should be doable)
Since his jailbreak is not applicable to A5 devices, can/should his exploit be combined with MuscleNerd's exploit for A5 devices so all current devices on all firmwares are covered.
Should it be held for 5.1 general release which Apple does not seem to be rushing out since it really doesn't fix any battery issues.
Time will tell.

i wanna say release it now..being selfish ofcourse.
but reallly a 'yes' to all those comments is a great plan for the jb community in the long run.

within the next two weeks I can see this untethered JB being released.
he's french so I doubt he and musclenerd can collaborate, even if its online, it would be tricky.

The jb devs themselves have no idea of when an untethered jb will be released, so how on earth do you expect people on here to know an exact date?

With pod2g's video of an untethered 5.0 JB, the release should be soon.

I have been watching his Twitter feed... he is adamant that he is genuine and really has an untethered 4s JB for 5.0 and 5.0.1
I am giving him the benefit of the doubt until the 25th Dec. He IS on MN's fake list though... but that doesn't really mean anything (because I am sure that anyone claiming to be a new jail breaker will be taken as a fraud by the more seasoned jailbreak community, at least until they deliver the goods) But I am hoping that he is what he says. We will see on Christmas Day!
