I did the 32gb one, and its actually the larger that is selling out, but i had a 64gb one once and i don't really need it for what i use it for. With 4k still being a niche you will probably find these in storesIs anyone here going to be Preordering the 4k Apple TV ?
Your 4K TV will no doubt support ARC or E-ARC... Run a HDMI cable from the TV to the AVR. At the very least, when you select the AppleTV HDMI input on the TV, the TV should then swith the AVR over to the correct input.
Optical and ARC will do up to lossless stereo or lossy 5.1.How is a separate HDMI from the Television to my av received different or better than running an optical cable form TV to that receiver. - both will only carry two channel audio, I think.
Note my audio rack is 25 feet from TV, and I already have an spare optical in wall.
just pre-ordered through BestBuy with 10% promo code. Sweet

I tend to check my email regularly, but no dice here. Must be targeted. Lucky you!
My other Apple TV Gen 4 was a 64GB unit. I hardly had any data which is why I do not see any added benefits of moving to a larger capacity unit.
I was contemplating of waiting till 09/22 and walking into an Apple Store to pick the new unit out, but I did not.
Ordered it on 09/15 just after 12:01 AM for a 32GB model.
The status has now changed from "Order Placed" to "Order In Progress".
I hope the unit is shipped out before 09/22.
if you don't mind me asking, but what ate up your storage? I bought the 32GB and only plan to add TV apps and hoping I'll have enough.
