No attempt, I called UPS and they took my number and they contacted the driver and called me with updated info. It was nice of them to do that.
mine just arrived. I'm in Guelph Ontario. tracking just updated to "out for delivery"
They have too many packages to scan, he probably will scan off at the end of his shift. hahahaha!
when i spoke to ups this morning, the guy said the delivery can be anywhere between 16-21 and we at customer service do not see more than you are seeing.
He also said apple made a specific request to scan these differently so if this were a normal package... id help you more but i cannot help you anymore

I think I got mine somewhere around the same time as you, Lawerence and Black Creek, How about you.
That's what I'm wondering too. Only ever had one package that said that and I didn't get it. It just went back to the depot and I got it next day. Usually when it says it's on the truck you get it but UPS have their own rules.
Well, I just visited Apple Store and BestBuy in Downtown Toronto, apparently, these guys have lots in stock, shouldn't preorder it. One asian bought 7 ipads, OMG.
LOL, I have my SIM card apparently out for delivery, as well as another Apple Store order listed as out for delivery.
At least the most important piece arrived safe and sound. I can live without that other stuff until Monday or so.
It's so awesome (apologies for the typos in the last few posts...I was on an iPad and I can't type to save my life on it. Anyway, yeah, the driver phoned ahead on my cell phone so be sure to answer the call otherwise, I think they're just leaving notes on doors now. Everyone is on mandatory overtime and the guy said there were a huge amount of cops at the warehouse today.
