Preorders Sitting in Nashville Thread

FedEx has a Regioal Hub there at the Airport.
 
Mine is in Nashville and still hasn't moved...of course I live in Nashvile so that might have something to do with it...

He says that they are bringing in extra help so do not be surprised to see a FedEx Ground truck to pull down your driveway as it will be "all hands on deck" for FedEx. BUT he says they can handle it!

Like I said yesterday:

They will leave late today or tonight and be at our local hubs and "Out for Delivery" Friday AM!:eek:

FedEx knows what it is doing!:p
 
Mine was in Nashville now it has moved to Indianapolis. The crazy thing about it though is Nashville is less than an hour away from me. Indianapolis is further away :confused:
 
Mine moved by truck from Nashville to Memphis where it'll catch a nother truck from Memphis to Huntsville today. Crazy though considering I live closer to Nashville than Memphis, but whatever.
 
Mine is still in Nashville, but I live here so I guess it is not going anywhere else. At least there was some change as of this morning my shipment info was sent to FedEx
 
Both of mine are in Memphis. Probably waiting for FedEx flight FDX358 this afternoon to go to Orlando, FL.

FedEx is likely dividing up shipments between Indianapolis and Memphis. Mine is going to Milwaukee.. Both IND and MEM have flights to MKE and mine is at MEM.

yeah me too. this is weird. Mine went from Nashville to Memphis and hopefully will come over to east TN some time today.

I hope FedEx is getting paid well to house these iPads for as long as they have.

Mine went to Memphis from Nashville this morning as well. And I'm betting on Orlando, FL for me as well. Unless there is a flight from Memphis to Fort Myers. Can't remember where overnight things go for me in Sarasota.

I have the same thing. Mine still says delivered by 4:30PM.

Now that's funny. On pre-order day I ordered a new iPad for myself and a refurbished iPad 2 for my wife. We live in Louisville. Hers came a couple of days ago routed through Memphis, while mine is in Nashville waiting for tomorrow's delivery.


EDIT: Ok, new info. It left Mt. Juliet last night and went to Indianapolis. If it went ground it had to pass right up I-65 through Louisville to get to Indy. Now it has to come south on 65 to get back to Louisville.

Well I was teasing her this morning saying its been moving, and told her I was gonna set it up for her, and she was like "I want to open it" so maybe I won't get my hands on it for a few days .

Who knows how they do things. I've had some FedEx package go throuh Nashville on the way to HSV. I expect mine and yours will leave out of Memphis by truck about midnight.

Seriously her Apple dedication just sort of happened by accident . Since September she's gotten a new iMac , iPhone 4s, macbook pro, and tomorrow her first iPad . Luckily we only had to pay for the iOS devices .
 
Mine started in Nashville, went to Mount Juliet and now sits in Memphis. It needs to make it Wisconsin by tomorrow lol
