Preorders Sitting in Nashville Thread

64gb ATT Black bound for Minnesota.

I think we will probably all have our packages moving within an hour or two of each other. My only question is when they will start moving ... tonight or tomorrow night?

I think this is a lot of units, but probably nothing that FedEx cant handle given the volume they handle at Christmas.
 
I kinda feel bad for the FedEx employees at the Nashville Location. Seems almost all the iPads were routed to there. That is a lot of packages to handle let alone a lot of money in product they are responsible for.
 
Nashville as well. Switched to standard overnight shipping yesterday. I'm not expecting any movement until sometime tomorrow. I'm in Sarasota, FL. Friday can't get here fast enough.

Another Minnesotan here with one waiting in Nashville. Woohoo. It's like Christmas in March.
 
Fellow ipad buyer.....

My iPad has been in Nashville since this past Sunday. It's been sitting there all lonely all this time. It's coming home to Texas. I got a Black/16GB/WiFi+4G/AT&T.

It's not lonely... It's spending quality time with my iPad and everyone else's here. They are having a Party without us.

Lol yeah originally from Memphis but up here for school (MTSU). I havent lived on campus in like 2 years but doesn't FedEx/UPS go to the receiving dock on Greenland by the Track&Field stadium?

A little OT but I remember having to walk from Felder (RIP) Dorm to that place and back to get a package.:eek:
 
My white 64GB wi-fi iPad has been sitting in the Nashville facility since the 12th. I live in Florida and will be checking the status again tommorrow evening.
 
I think I have this figured out. It's about letting the glue dry. The warm southern climate inside an 18 wheeler trailer is the final touch to getting them out with no yellow spots on the screen.

mine is in nashville as well. shipping to the st. louis area scheduled for delivery by the 16th at 4:30 pm.

now I'm stuck with the decision to pre-sign or not. I'm not sure if anyone will be home to sign, but I've never pre-signed before. basically, it comes down to calling off work or not. i know that i shouldn't.. we are already shorthanded on friday. hmmmm.. anyone pre-sign before? what prevents someone from just walking up and taking it? or even the driver? couldn't he just take the pre-signed paper and act like he dropped it off, but really just keep it?

There is nothing to prevent someone stealing a package left at the door. If you sign the release and the package is stolen, FedEx is off the hook for it.
 
Mine is still in Nashville waiting shipment to Minnesota. It still says delivery by 3 pm March 16.

Wonder why some are being moved to 10 pm? Are all the 10 pm people from the same area? Maybe it's a flight change of some kind that is affecting delivery time..

I'm in texas.
 
Mine is sitting with UPS in Louisville, Kentucky. Its final destination is Georgia. Why the difference I wonder...
