I used to be like that, but you know...someday we all are going to be on our death beds, hopefully many years from now, and you are going to think back to times like this and say to yourself "I wish that week (and so many other weeks we wished would have gone by faster) hadn't gone by quite so fast".

Just curious as they seem to be doing the US orders 1st.

I ordered 16gb White as soonnas the store was up and I'm still "Processing"

Ordered Friday night, 8:00pm. Black 32g. Now shows Preparing for Shipment.

You had to Press up up down down left right left right b a on your keyboard at the order screen, and it allowed you to order the 65gb version. I think its too late to switch now though.

WHY do I know that sequence? What video game used that at some sort of cheat code? Was it Sonic?!

I think it was 30 extra men on Contra(NES) if I remember right!

Curiously, the APP+ is still Processing.

Dstopsie I wouldn't count on it shipping before Wed, if it's not early. It's amazing that they leave China and get here in less than 2 days, but they consistently do it.

Bear in mind most of these shipments are instructed to be help by Fedex no matter when they are shipped. A few slip through the cracks, yes, but chances are they won't arrive until the 14th.

If you run OSX just get the Junecloud widget, it's the same and it is free.

I bought mine on launch morning, about 1:45 AM Pacific. I received an e-mail shortly thereafter stating I would receive it on 10/14, and my credit card was charged $1 as a hold on funds. Weird thing is, I checked my status today and it was flagged for non-payment by the credit card company. So I called AT&T, and sure enough, found out my credit card company would not allow the purchase, so the lady was nice enough to let me try another credit card. That credit card worked, and I immediately received the above e-mail. I'm glad AT&T didn't kick me to the back of the line on this, I guess because it was already reserved. At any rate, mine has passed the line of "no return" and I'm getting a 64GB 4S in white.

the desktop widget is free and is a great app I've been using it ever since the iPad 2 launch...
hopefully we will see some updates on monday about our shipments, i also hope my separate orders from apple see some updates (iPhone accessories and a new battery for my MBP)

Woke up at 2:45 am EST on the 7th to order and as a result there was many people online as well making the sites crash. I stayed up till about 4:30 am and just couldn't get through. I had to go to sleep because I worked in the early am. So little and behold I get to work to notice the internet is down. I got out of work early and ordered it at 3:15 pm and just checked my order status and it's at the "preparing for shipment" stage... Just to give you guys some reference as to time ordered and order status.

Is there anyone OUTSIDE the US whose shipment has already been processed? My one is still processing and says "Ships by Oct 14". Not "Delivered by".

I'm in Melbourne as well and ordered at a few minutes after 7pm on Friday night with no hassles... mine is showing the same as yours - ships by Oct. 14, not delivered by. It's also still showing 'processing items'. I'll keep you posted.
