Preparing For Shipment status at Apple

I hope they ship FEDEX because in case my parents are not at home, I can go pick it up at the local FEDEX station same day. It happened with my iPhone 4 last year and when I called to pick it up, the driver had already got back to the station and it was ready for me. UPS 9 times out of 10 won't make an exception for you to pick it up in my experience.
 
I ordered my phone at 4 am pacific time but my white 32 gig is still processing. The 16 gig black I ordered for my friend is now preparing for shipment

Both phones are on AT&T. I think my status will change by tomorrow hopefully.

My white 16GB Verizon is still processing as well. Hoping to see a change soon.

My 16GB white went to preparing for shipment. Ordered at 5pm eastern time yesterday.
 
All 3 of mine now show preparing for shipment

2 Black 32 GB
1 Black 16 GB

All were ordered around 0500 AM EST on Friday.

7am (Mountain Time) and yes, from Apple. It still says delivers on Oct 14, but it is still processing. Plus, if I go to "check eligibility", it still gives me options for subsidized prices. May have to call Apple in the morning. The authorization went through with my credit card, so I know thats not a problem.
 
Both iPhones preparing for shipment. Ordered 5:30am eastern on the 7th.

1. White 16GB AT&T
2. Black 32GB AT&T
 
Mine still says "processing", but it should say it soon for me hopefully. Because when I seen my upgrade status by pressing *639# it changed to me being eligible to upgrade in 2013.


I ordered around 12:30 pm eastern time. So I guess they are going by who ordered the earliest.
 
Mine says Delivered on Oct 14 Preparing for Shipment ?

I assume I will get a confirmation either Wednesday or Thursday when it ships, maybe we will be lucky and get them a day early like we did last year :D
 
Ordered mine at 10:12am EST through Apple direct
I'm with AT&T.
I am upgrading from a iPhone 4.
As of right now, Apple site says Processing.
Checked AT&T site and no longer says I qualify for an upgrade. (now not till 2013)

I have to guess I am golden just have to be patient. :)

I ordered at 9pm through Apple last night - still saying I made the cutoff for October 14th delivery but still says processing, not preparing for shipment. Should I be worried mine is going to be pushed back or the original date usually is accurate as I made the cutoff?

It can't be by who ordered the earliest. I ordered at 5pm eastern and mine is preparing for shipment. What size and color did you order?
 
I think it's really pathetic that the phone orders made early on 10/7 didn't make the cut. Orders are orders.

Not only that, but the apparent lack of information that the Cust Reps had is mind blowing. Biggest release of the year and they're scrambling.
